I have a $1500 AVR, a vintage Marantz 2270 AVR and literally thousands of dollars of additional audio/video equipment. I have been searching for years to find a way to protect these investments....and AC Infinity fans are the answer to my prayers!! I purchased the Airplate series for cooling my entertainment center, the Aircom series for my AVR's and the Multifan S series for individual electronic devices. The ONLY way to improve the performance and lifespan of electronic equipment is to keep them cool when they are operating and I could not be happier with the performance of AC Infinity fan systems in accomplishing that!!!

I'm the owner of a new Marantz 5015 AV Receiver. Early in my ownership it became obvious the Marantz runs very hot when pushed. The unit shut down on a number of occasions (read parties!) due to temperature overload. I realized I needed a reliable fan system to rid the unit of the excess heat. Once installed, the overheating issue went bye bye! And it looks fantastic on top of the 5015. Thanks AC Infinity. I couldn't be happier with your product.

I have a stack of electronics in a cabinet built for them with screened doors, open interior, and vents at the top of the cabinet. Heat was still a problem and my components were frying. After trying to find a solution, I luckily stumbled onto ACINFINITY. The product works as intended. I placed one unit on the top component (mine are separate on 3 shelves) and it definitely works as intended. I'll probably add one more in the cabinet which vents out the back and place it in the middle. I really love the design, operation, and functionality of this unit. I will buy another.
I purchased the Aircom S9 unit, for my, "used-but-new-to-me," receiver. My concern, however, was the ventilation on the receiver not being adequate enough to dissipate the heat. I found this unit through a Google search. I am so glad that I did, b/c its an EXACT fit for my receiver! Its been a few days since I have received and used, but the cooler has keep my receiver...well, cool. Before I was using a room-fan atop of my receiver, before I had discovered this. I am happy with the unit and plan to keep it for quite sometime.
AC Infinity AIRCOM S9, 3 fan unit. In my opinion for 80 dollars it an inexpensive way to protect your home audio investments. The only way to improve the lifespan of electronic equipment, is to keep them cool when they are operating. The S9 does this at a reasonable price, it is extremely quiet and it looks great on top of my Denon AVR3600H. I have it set on automatic mode, the fan speed is regulated by heat detection radiating off the Denon. It automatically turns on and ventilates the heat, then shuts off, all unbeknownst to me because it is whisper quiet. The only con I have is with the front panel light that displays the fan speed, it is piercingly bright, very eye catching in a dark theatre room. It automatically turns on and ventilates the heat, then shuts off, all unbeknownst to me because it is whisper quiet. The only con I have is with the front panel light that displays the fan speed, it is piercingly bright, very eye catching in a dark theatre room. There is no way to dim it, no way to turn the light off when the unit is running in the auto mode. In fact the light gets brighter the faster the fan spins. When this light turns on, my eyes go from watching the movie right to this piercing light on the front panel display. My solution to blocking the light was placing a 1 inch round, adhesive backed, felt slider over the lamp, so I cannot see the fan light turn on and off when viewing movies. I have read other reviewers comments, stating they've used a black paint marker to color in the piercing light, I think that is unacceptable. Aircom should redesign the light, make it dimmable, include some sort of light cover, or have a setting to turn the light off, for those who are using this in a dark room, or theatre setting. This would easily earn 5 stars from me, if the light on the unit wasn't so obnoxious.
It's a rare thing when a product I order exceeds expectations while performing as it was advertised. That's what I got with the Aircom S9 top exhaust fan. Such a great experience I ordered another for my Onkyo surround receiver. I may order a third for my Denon component system.
Recently built a/v cabinet for my mcintosh mx122 and mc8207. Cabinet temps reached in the mid 90f degrees.Installed two S9 airplate exhaust fans and two S9 aircom a/v component cooling fans. With two 17” exhaust lovers placed on each bottom side of cabinet the temps are now 87-88f.These are very highly quality components and highly recommend these units. Great equipment at a very good price
I've only had this in action a few days but it's working as promised. I have to admit I was a little worried about the fan noise but I've never heard it. I am using it in auto and this afternoon I decided to put it through it's paces and fired up some Ted Nugent being as I had the house to myself. I was listening at high volumes and it never went to the high fan settings. In fact, it even shut down multiple times during the test as it cooled the component below 88 degrees. I have it on top of Marantz SR6007.
I love to listen to loud music and when I crank up my onkyo receiver it gets hotter than a firecracker. Placing the s9 over the top to which it fits perfectly cools it down no problem. The smart mode function works best because it adjusts the fan speed to the heat of the unit. It never had to move past the slowest speed to keep it cool with loud music! Very nice product.
