I have several T-7 rack fans going and they do the job very well. Although not an ultra-quiet unit, it is quiet enough for most rack cooling needs.I use them to cool vacuum tubes on rack mount guitar amplifiers and they do a great job. The unit linking function is very useful so you can run several fans with one control panel.Very high-quality construction for PC/Electronic gear.I do like them and I plan to keep using them on all of my racks.

I purchased A T-7 to cool a touring Audio Rack with outdoor shows that have cause equipment overheating in past years during the summer. Although we have not gigged with it yet, it fit perfectly, was super easy to install, and appears to have met our requirements. Two weeks until our hottest annual show of the year that will tell the true performance. So far, it runs perfectly in the shop... Super quiet.

I like the steel finish cause it matches my sanus av rack beautifully. It has a large USEFUL display , its not bright at all I can see it clear at night or day. One thing is the fans are blowing heat out the rack [looks like its blowing in on the photos] and I put it on top of my mounted Marantz receiver. Its silent even at the highest speed and keeps everything cool to the touch. My only annoyance is that the power cord could be longer

I purchased the Cloudplate T7 Quiet (AI-CP2L) for a rack that just didn't seem to move the hot air along. It's been a year and It has been perfect! I have it set to a fairly low speed and it keeps things cool without any added noise. Some of the equipment is way louder than this fan system! Very classy looking on top of great functionality. I plan to purchase a few other items for other projects. Thanks for such a great product!
I recently installed one of these in a 12U rack mount road case for portable live theater lighting control and have had it in service now for over two weeks. The unit runs very silent even at higher speeds and handily manages the heat generated by the 22 lighting dimmer channels in this case (13kW total). The unit's temperature controlled feature allows the unit to run at quieter slower speeds when lighting power demands are low. I will be buying more of these.
I have seen a few home theater builds with these fans used and picked up a set. One word? WOW. They're extremely well built, quiet, and powerful. I added the Controller 12 fan controller and it does a marvelous job running these fans so I don't have to. If you're on the fence about which fans to pick up, look no further.
This is a very well made and elegant looking fan system for a rack, and it costs hundreds less than similar models by other manufacturers. The 4 small fans are pretty quit at low speeds, very easy to operate, tje thermostat works well, the alarm function can be very usefull. I definitely recommend this product. I purchased 3 more after I tested the first one for 2 months.
As soon as I printed the order, I realized that I had goofed. I called and Kenny fixed it right away, no hassle. The units were dispatched promptly. They are even nicer than I anticipated. About the only way to improve them would be for them to be wall powered instead of using a wall wart - but would anyone pay the extra money? Likely not :-) We will definitely be switching to these from our previous brand.
If Programing my Boss GT Pro wasn't enough. Now I'm not complaining about the Cloudplate it is worth every penny. The unit comes with a mobile sensor that you can place on a unit that creates heat so the unit can modulate rack cooling more efficiently. The Cloudplate has a DC extension plug in case you mount another unit on the Racks front to create a better air flow.
Ok, first I need to define my terms here: Intake Fan blows backwards towards the BACK of the rack; Exhaust Fan blows forwards away from the front of the rack. This seems simple enough, but nowhere in the B&H description will you find WHICH WAY this particular unit blows. As it turns out, this unitCLOUDPLATE T7 blows forward, to the front of the rack. Just opposite from what I needed. It's a great little unit, unfortunately B&H needs to do a better job at describing just what the fan is doing (Intake or Outflow). Because the description didn't say, I made the assumption the airflow direction was selectable. Wrong. It isn't. The unit would get five stars, B&H lost it one.
