AC Infinity CLOUDPLATE T7-N Intake Rack Cooling Fan System
The CLOUDPLATE T7-N from AC Infinity is a rackmount cooling fan system designed for use in server, network, and IT racks where higher noise levels are accepted. It uses 2 RU of space and can be mounted in most 19" racks. Featuring a solid-aluminum enclosure and three fans, the CLOUDPLATE T7-N is intended for heavy-duty use. Its three dual-ball-bearing fans, engineered to reduce noise, are certified by UL, CE, TUV, and RoHS. A backlit LCD screen displays the temperature every second, courtesy of the on-board digital processor. Program the thermostat and fan speed to desired settings, or use SMART energy mode, which automatically adjusts fan speed in response to surrounding temperatures. With an airflow rating of 50 to 220 CFM, the CLOUDPLATE T7-N can cool most racks. It may be used in control rooms, home theaters, or machine rooms, due to a noise level of 10 to 36 dBA. Rackmount screws, cage nuts, a corded thermal probe, and a 12 VDC power supply are included.

We have ordered several shelves and now the Cloudplate T7-N Quiet rack Cooling Fan System and we couldn't be happier. Everything was shipped in quality packaging and arrived quickly. The shelves are very sturdy and the fan pushes a lot of air and when running at speed 6 does make some noise. But because our equipment is in a closet we ordered the fan with the higher CFM output knowing the noise wouldn't be an issue. We will definitely recommend AC Infinity to friends and family.

I really like the X7. Mounted on server rack last year. Looks great. Remote temp sensor placed between switches. Runs great. Purrs at lower speeds, and whines noticeably loud at full power, a good indication that the server room is too hot to begin with. Highly recommend.

You spend a small fortune on your stereo components. The last thing you want is for generated HEAT shortening the life span of your investments. SERIOUSLY !! This is just what you need !

So far on my two post DuraRAK I have the T9-N installed to move air over the Emotiva amplifiers, then in the near future (after I save my lunch money) I will order a T7-N to move air over the Onk 5008. But I may wait until the new units come out in February (T2, T5 or T6) before I make a decision on the unit for the Onk.With the T9-N I'm very impressed with the quality of the unit, appearance, sound control and of course the volume of air it moves. Of course I will fill the gaps in the rack with matching AC Infinity plates!
One of my big concerns has always been heat when dealing with multiple components (power Amps) confined to small spaces such as gig racks (especially outdoor venues). During the summer months heat can pose a real problem. The CLOUD X7 was just the component I was looking for to combat the heat. The feature i like the most is the digital display which gives me situational awareness at a glance. A very small investment that has helped ensure longevity of all my crucial components.. Sincerely Donnie Isaacs
You people make the fan box so big it won’t slip into the face of a rack shelf holding components that need to be cooled! Please re-design the box thingy the fans are mounted in so it can mate with the front of a rack shelf!
Very nice high quality material item. I recommend this brand.
Ha, couldn't resist; it is pretty cool. It was very easy to install and get running right away. ...using for home-lab and experimenting with where the thermocouple probe goes and where I'm putting blank panels to get efficient airflow. It's pretty quiet, or at least as quiet as the NAS or router...
Our company purchased two of these babies to cool a 40U 19" rack that holds a number of routers, switch boards, a ups system rtc It has really assisted in keeping the hot air flowing out and equipment cool. Zero lag and heat shutdowns since installation. It's set to blow out but you can unscrew the panel and change the direction the fans are blowing. We have one set at the very top to push hot air out and one at the bottom and suck in outside air. The whole thing feels very heavy duty and premium.
I had a gap in my cabinet and came across the fan unit. I got it and it has a wide variety of operating modes and settings. It took a little time to set up the proper cooling settings, but once it is going it is non-intrusive and intuitive. The fans are quiet on the lowest settings. When the probe warms up the smart feature gradually turns on the fan and if the temp goes up the fans increase speed incrementally and this really does keep my amplifier cabinet cooler.
