Access Point Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Long-range
The Ubiquiti AP-U6-LR is an access point with a great range. As a result, you can provide a large hall or patio with WiFi. The UniFi 6 Long Range access point has an IPS54 rating, so you can easily mount it under a cover to provide your patio with WiFi. You can use one of the other U6 access points to provide indoor spaces with WiFi. Thanks to WiFi 6, you can go online with over 100 devices at the same time without the wireless network becoming unreliable. The speed is 2 times higher than that of WiFi 5, so all of your employees can work hybrid without any issues. You decide who's allowed to go online via which network and you can link multiple access points for coverage throughout the entire office. The access points work together via mesh, so you don't loose your connection.

Another great AP from Ubiquiti. I paired this via PoE with the Unifi Dream Router, and it works perfectly. Great coverage and speed. I use this downstairs and my UDR upstairs to cover about 2800 sq. feet of house effortlessly.

Before I acquired the Unifi U6 Lite as part of the wireless upgrade solution (including a Unifi Dream Router - UDR and U6 Mesh Access Point), my client's wireless internet speed from their ISP modem was just 7.16Mbps...After the Unifi upgrade, not only did we have increased and more reliable wireless coverage, but the recorded internet speed test jumped from 7.16Mbps to 522Mbps...a 72.90 times speed increase!!! Impressive!!

Radios on board do work better than the previous generation of Unifi AP's.For reasons not clear to me Unifi devs have removed numerous useful features that administrators and business owners would have benefited greatly from on the management side of the product, specifically load balancing abilities. At the moment the only load balancing feature left in the software is to force users to migrate over to another AP if the signal strength is too low, previously before software got nerfed the admin's could force AP migration by the number of devices using each access point.Unifi makes good access point and switches at a decent price point but their software is a darned Dysfunctional mess! The only other options that are not prohibitively expensive and better in ... MoreRadios on board do work better than the previous generation of Unifi AP's.For reasons not clear to me Unifi devs have removed numerous useful features that administrators and business owners would have benefited greatly from on the management side of the product, specifically load balancing abilities. The only other options that are not prohibitively expensive and better in the managed sphere are Aruba mesh AP's but their operating costs for the owner are much higher.

I have been using the Unify AP's for my home network for years! Since the Wi-Fi 6 came out, it was time to upgrade my home AP's to have the latest hardware version! These AP's are awesome as they cover a lot more ground and provide increased signal throughout my home! I definitely recommend these AP's for any Home Network Application!
Ubiquiti equipment is one of the best in my opinion. I use their firewalls, poe, and switches. I have been using Ubiquiti since it was a smaller company and less expensive. They only improve and enhance their equipment. The AP can be tuned and channel scans for the best perfromance when used with Ubiquiti management equipment (firewalls, cloudkey, and switches). You cannot go wrong this equipment.
Very affordable price point for the features it provides. Not the greatest of range, however. You will need more of these to cover larger areas. Signal starts to degrade at about 25-30' from the AP. With a Unifi controller you just mount it, power it, and adopt it. Very easy setup.
I bought this AP, and I'm certain it's great for any application. Covers every corner of my 750 square foot apartment. Seems to cover the main floor of my mom's 2 story house, and if we placed another in the upper floor and basement, we could cover the whole house for less than the cost of some single access points. Couldn't reccomend it enough!
I bought it, wait for it to arrive, I did the installation and I can't use it because it doesn't have Power Supply. Nowhere does it indicate that it does not include Poe Power injector. It's a waste of time. I don't understand why all the other models include it and this one doesn't.
Replacing my UAR-AC-Lites with U6-Lites and couldn't be happier. Price point is very good and performance is what I have come to expect from Ubiquiti. I had used Linksys and Cisco for years until I started supporting Ubiquiti as a field technician. I grew to really like the brand and started using them myself and have had very little problems with them compared to the Linksys units. It is also a plus that the company was started by an individual that was responsible for Apple's WiFi initiative and it shows, not only in quality but also the packaging, LOL! All around great product. Warning though, once you experience the Unifi brand it will quickly become addictive and you will want to change out more, much more!
If your using this for home use and have multiple 4K tv's running at the same time you will max out your 5Ghz band.a Single 4K TV uses 56% of 5G on HT80.Unifi 6 lite has 5G switching problems if 2 4ghz is not set to custom 15DB or less power.5G devices seam to prefer 4G until you change the power settings. This little ap covers my 1200Sqr ft home no problem over 5Ghz once you play with the power settings.I may get a second so I don't over saturate a single 5Ghz band however due to my homes design most devices will auto prefer the bedroom AP in the center of my home.I may decide on the 4x4 mimo long range once it's available and either sell the U6 lite or use in my shed
