The Plissé Electric Kettle excels the most through its design. It's very name declares the sculptural nature of its design: pleated fabric, this kettle is reminiscent of an haute couture dress. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the Plissé kettle combines functional aspects with a plastic and imaginative design that reveals the creator's passion for architecture, handicraft and sculpture. The sculptural folds of the Plissé adds a subtle sophistication, a softness and a feminine curve to your kitchen. It sits on a discreet hidden base, features thermal insulation (so it can be placed on a bench straight after boiling), and is equipped with an anti-limescale filter.

Wow cant believe the price of this kettle. It was such good value for a designer kettle. Absolutely love it.

Bought what looked like a black kettle in the photo at checkout and when it arrived it was a very different grey. It was still in its box and within 48 hours we contacted the store to exchange for black, both were sale items and told that we could not return to swap or have a credit. Very disappointing.

Beautiful design, nice and quiet when boiling, ergonomic and pleasant to hold. Not to mention beautiful to look at. It was a bargain at 50% off. Not sure I would pay full price for it though (270$)

Excellent service!! Quick, easy and the product is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
Love it!! Quick to boil, not noisy.. looks reall smick. Love the way the top opens.. a very smart kettle. I got the grey one - is a blue grey. .
It's light , it's stylish, easy to use . Love it!
I wasn't looking to purchase a kettle on the day that I did.. however I am so happy that the sale price lured me in, and the architectural aesthetics won me over- looks beautiful in the kitchen, its quite, quick to boil, and light weight. Winning!
Delighted with the design of this kettle . It’s light and very attractive ..I love looking at it and using it daily .. it’s handle is perfect , fold away cord a bonus . Just love it .
This is a true centrepiece, a show stopper that everyone loves. Perfect in every way
Alessi does not disappoint in function or design. missing the "volume window” but small “price” for sleek look. also goes great with our Alessi coffee stovetop
