It's incredibly pretty and looks amazing. I should have researched the features more because I thought, for the price, it would have other features, like holding the temperature for a period of time after boiling or something but it doesn't have any other features. It's a normal regular kettle. A very expensive regular kettle that does at least look pretty.Edit - UPDATE - I've only had it since December and it's leaking out the bottom. How disappointing

It looks good. BUT that's all. It doesn't show how hot it's getting. It has none of the features that other kettles have. It's also very noisy. Would not recommend it

It looks beautiful in my new kitchen. Pours really well. It is expensive for a kettle but I have looked at it as a design piece as well. I didn't realise how much I appreciated seeing the water level in my last glass kettle, but this is just a personal thing and am slowly starting to judge water level by the kettle's weight. I have not commented on the quality as I have only had this kettle for a very short time and am hoping, taking its cost into consideration, it will last the test of time.

Many years ago, men would be hanged if they stole someone else's kettle. They were called 'rustlers'.If a rustler stole my new Alessi kettle, I would do anything to get it back.[Checks internet]Oh, OK, that was for CATTLE.But I feel the same way. The Alessi is stylish, efficient, quiet and just the right fit for my kitchen. It is the best kettle I have ever owned, and I hope it lasts a lifetime.Turns of that a fire engine red cattle is just what I needed.Dammit, KETTLE. I knew that
I love this product. I was looking for something a little different and these products certainly are. Look beautiful and unique. Toaster browns toast to perfection. Kettle is quiet and easy to fill up. Happy that there is a British plug which goes straight into socket (not a transformer in sight)
I saw some reviews about not being able to see how much water is inside. But you can easily just open the lid and look. In my opinion, the design is so beautiful that you would not want a water meter to disturb the look. It's one of the only appliances we leave out on our counter.

The kettle does not look transparent , as written in another review. It is aesthetic , brings some nostalgia to the breakfast table , because the hot water for tea can be served easily in the pot . The water stays hot for a long time .
At first glance, a great design - light and playful - also made in Europe. However, a closer look reveals several negative aspects: The material cannot decide whether it wants to be opaque or translucent - either the casing is too thin or the plastic is not transparent enough. As a result, the technology in the lower area shimmers through unintentionally or even intentionally, but not consistently. Another unattractive point is the base on which the stove stands, which offers three possible openings for the power cable. Which is convenient on the one hand, but doesn't look good on the other. The packshots are not correct here. Also, the opening mechanism on the lid doesn't seem very sturdy and will probably break quickly.A bit of a shame overall.
