Amazon - Fire HD 10 Tablet (32GB) - 2021 - Olive

I have two fire sticks. They work great. I bought this Fire Tablet to replace an Samsung Android tablet that had reached its 'expiry date' due to not being able to update its operating system.This tablet (Fire) does not last 12 hrs when being used. That aspect of the tablet is wrong.It does not run all the programs the Android tablet did or sites for that matter.I've not yet had a chance to use it for work purposes but will in the new year.Its a nice size, has wonderful graphics, fast, light weight and a great camera. It should come installed with the Google Play to be honest. The Amazon version is okay, but, sadly lacking some items that are needed. Not helpful or competitive with Android in that respect. I probably should have bitten the bullet and paid for the Samsung Android tablet to be honest. While this one is okay, its not what I expected. I've used Apple and Samsung (Android) products all my life. So I have a good idea of comparison. Rated 3 out of 5 because it isn't what I expected and therefore not a 5.

I bought this when TSV for my 12 year old grandson for Christmas. I don't know about the device since it is not Christmas yet, but I have tried making the Caseable custom case for it, and the site does not work right. After many many attempts at loading the two pictures, it finally accepted the pictures; however, when I tried to add to the cart, it came up with this long red error. I emailed Caseable three different times. I finally got a reply telling me to upload using a different browser which I did. It gave me the same long red error. THIS IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I asked for a phone number in the fourth email and even asked if they could place the order for me and I attached the two photos for the front and back of the case. I got no reply back. I thought he would love seeing his family picture on it, and he would know it was his. I also purchased the extra DS card. I hope the device works better than the website for Caseable. This was very deceptive. I am a regular QVC shopper.

I really wanted to like this tablet. I bought it as a larger, albeit not as multifunctional, device to do things I could no longer do on my iPhone. I’m getting older and it’s getting more difficult to see the screen. What a disappointment. The only thing it really does well is work with my Kindle subscription. I already have both a Kindle Reader and my 1st edition Nook Color, which works perfectly. And my phone, of course. I don’t need another eReader. I wanted it to play my favorite games, surf the web, which it does do OK. I also have a cheaper model Chromebook that I can do all that on. This tablet might as well be a paperweight! It’s heavy enough with the case I purchased for this model. It does not play my games, it is not user friendly-and I’m pretty tech ... MoreI really wanted to like this tablet.
