All good, does it’s purpose well. One small problem is the LCD screen is a little hard to read when plugged in low near the floor. Use an extension cord so you can see it at an angle.

I bought this to find out what was making the predicted electricity bill so extremely high in my new home. Best set up using an extension cord because the item labels are very small and you need to get close. It does it’s job very effectively.

Worked just fine initially to measure consumption of a few appliances around the house.A few months later, when I wanted to measure another, it went haywire - display flashing garbage, buttons unresponsive, not cured by master clear button.
Had it for over 6 Months and it works well for the price. I have checked it for accuracy using a high-end Fluke Multimeter. I have bought another for my shed.
As other have said.It works fine, seems accurate down to a couple of watts load, didn't try below that.It says 0.2W-2760WCheap to buy. Fine to monitor device consumption, wouldn't use it for logging because of small display. Hard to read without good direct light or torch. Use an extension to put it somewhere convenient to read.Manual doesn't say about the plastic tab inside stopping the batteries running down, battery compartment a bit hard to lever out, 2 catches hold it in, just pop out with a screwdriver. Don't know if it will run without batteries in place, just says don't run without the compartment closed, didn't feel like blowing it up yet :-)
It does what it is meant to. But, the screen is very small and difficult to read. I often had to use a small extension cord, so that I could bring the Meter closer to my face so I could read the data.
To add to earlier comments about the LCD being hard to read. If you refer to the product image above. The problem is the tiny icon to the right of the last zero. It indicates the setting option, ie. Watts, Amps, Watt Hours etc. It is frustratingly small and barely readable even under ideal lighting conditions. I purchased this device 12 months and ended up buying another brand with a better display.
Apart from missing of the backlight everyone else has mentioned, the quality can be a hit and miss. I've got 2 of them, The older one was bought over 3 years ago and is still working fine. The second one started giving me false readings within 1 year after the purchase. The power reading had been slowly growing up for about 6 weeks to the point it's 1/3 higher than it should be. I thought there is something wrong with my computer. It turned out that the voltage reading is wrong. It reads 295v when I replaced it. The customer service is very helpful and I can get a new one. Hopefully this new one will last as long as the first one I've bought 3 years ago.
Shows a 2000W electric heater drawing nearly 4000W, and over 16A. The true current draw, measured with a clamp meter, is around half of that.
