I have to say I was surprised at how much I like this face cream. I love the creamy texture that sinks into my skin and make my face feel so good, hydrated and soft. There is a pleasant soft scent, perhaps a berry scent. Even though I’m not big on scented face creams…this one wins in my book. I go to bed with my skin feeling calm and soft. Not sure if there are any benefits for fine lines or wrinkles like some other creams out there, but I like this more than my “Over 50 face creams” I have purchased lately. I L-dopa recommend giving it a try!

Allergic reaction- has formulation changed?

I was happily using this product for several years. Recently started using a new jar and had a very bad allergic reaction similar to what others have reported: swollen eyelids, bumpy skin on face and neck and rash. It’s taking a long time to resolve. Has the formulation changed recently or could I have become allergic to it over time?

Caused a burning rash

The day after using this cream for the first time, I had a very uncomfortable burning rash on my cheeks and neck. It lasted for a couple of days. I had to use a Cortizone cream to calm my skin. I did not suspect that it was the cream because I have never had this type of reaction to any other Aveeno product. I refrained from using it for a couple of weeks and I just tried it again last night... again this morning, I woke up with the same burning rash, particularly the front of my neck. I do like Aveeno products but just as a warning for people with sensitive skin, there is clearly a problematic ingredient in this cream.

Dry skin, acne, greasy application

I use Aveeno cleanser, the standard green one but mostly the pink calming cleanser and both have worked great for me for years. The green moisturizer works for me as well but it didn't help get rid of my blackheads so I wanted to try something else. As of late, I've been using the Neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer and have used it for a year and I love it. I'm assuming no moisturizer will help with my blackheads though. I figured since the Aveeno products have worked for me that any of them would, boy was I wrong... this was TERRIBLE. Applying it felt so greasy and was hard to rub in. By the morning I woke up, my black heads were filled with pus, I had a few new white heads, my face was swollen and red and my skin felt so dry after I rinsed it off. I had to do my Nugg hydrating face mask immediately after washing my face with the St. Ives oatmeal scrub and Aveeno cleanser. I would also not suggest the Aveeno calming moisturizer as it only sits on top of your skin no matter how much you try to rub it into your face. My family and friends said my face looked white from that moisturizer. I would suggest the cleanser to anyone though and the Neutrogena moisturizer. Neutrogena has really great products. I have yet to have a problem with any of them..

Instantly soft and hydrated

I'm new to this product but am loving it!I've reached that age where night cream should be implemented into my skin care routine, and Aveeno has taken such great care of my young skin I thought it might do the same for my ageing skin.I was not disappointed, I could feel the difference in my skin after the first time I used this night cream, my face was so soft and felt hydrated without being greasy, which is great for my combination skin. It hasn't caused my problem areas to break out and it's helping the dryer areas.Hopefully I'll see even better full effects by the time I finish my first jar!

I am 31 years old and have sensitive and oily skin. I have bought numerous face creams and have spent hundreds of dollars without any success. And being 59 lines, wrinkles and sagging we're becoming issues. Aveeno Absolutely Ageless delivered from the very first night I used it. I tapped my finger on the cream and dotted it on my forehead, cheeks, chin and nose, then gently smoothed it on my face, adding a few more dots to my neck and collarbone. Almost immediately my skin felt soft and hydrated. Within a few days I noticed less lines and firmer, younger looking skin. I definitely notice a difference if I don't use it a few days. I've even used it on my hands. It only takes a small amount and light touch, so the product last a long time. NOT WORTH THE RISK

I very rarely, if ever, experience skin sensitivity to products, but this cream has left a chemical burn on my face. The first time I used it, I woke up the next day with red skin than felt like a sunburn. By the end of the day it was feeling better and since I wasn't 100% sure what the reaction was from, I used the cream for a second night. NEVER AGAIN. I woke up with red, swollen, itchy, burning cheeks, chin and forehead, with what looks like a rash consisting of small bumps. My face is totally dried out. Do NOT take a chance on this product - it's not worth the risk!! I have stopped using it and will NEVER use it again. My advise to people will be to try it on a small area before applying it on to the full face. This cream is different from all the other aveeno products and just go off reviews because everyone has different skin. Anyway I won’t be applying this cream on my face but now I just use it on my hands as a hand cream or a moisturiser and that’s ok. Won’t be buying it again.
