Expensive? Yes. Fantastic looking? Yes. Even cooking? Yes. Love this cooker just watch out for the cool air fan after using ovens. That is just a minor quibble though. Really like digital display with real time oven temp. I would recommend if you are serious about cooking.

This fridge freezer is fantastic - it is so much easier than a standard American style fridge to see what you have in it - the shelves are all at the right level and the lighting is very effective. There is lots of useable space and the freezer drawers are equally user friendly. My only criticism is that despite tightening the fixings several times, one of the door handles comes loose - to the extent that we must now remember to open the door by pulling the top of the frame

Brilliant Cooker

Very pleased with the build quality of this cooker. The delivery and fitting went really well.Having used it for a while now, we are very pleased with the performance.Our last cooker was a Britannia 900cm, which we had for 20 years, and were pleased with it.Looking for a replacement, we thought the build quality on the Britannia range was not as good as it used to be. So we went for this one.We are glad we did, it does everything really well. pre-heat on the oven is quick, temperature control is spot on. It really does perform well.As for the top burners, the choice of size and power covers every need.All in all, we would highly recommend this cooker, and John Lewis, for there service.

Electrical Issues !

I reviewed this Range before and gave it 5 stars based on looks, build, functionality. That all still stands, however having had this installed late April this year, we have had to call out Bertazzoni 3 times, as the cooker keeps tripping out the electrics on our consumer unit.First time ( July ) , they replaced 3 elements that had burned out ! in the grill ( hardly used ) . Second time , and element in the 2nd Oven was replaced. The 3rd time, I'm not sure yet, awaiting engineer visit ! I feel that for the money we paid, and for it to go wrong so quickly, and different elements each time and the disruption to our kitchen, something more than a fix needs to be done !

Great Cooker

My second Bertazzoni cooker, had one in a previous house. Very well built and a functional cooker. Had a problem with the fan that was replaced with no fuss. Even the installers commented that it was a very solid well built cooker. Easy to use and looks stylish. I am not one for fancy gimmicks and it does all I need it to do very well

Italian beauty

Solid piece of kit. Well built with chunky control dials, giving that professional look . You have 2 fast burners located at either end of the cooker hob and then the rest are standard.The doors to the ovens feel solid when opened and closed. The storage draw at the bottom has a nice soft close action. You have so many options with the ovens to meet almost every style of cooking, fan assisted, conventional oven, cooking from the bottom only for slow cooking, cooking from the top only to provide a nice crispy crust to a pie.Looks good if you can get the extractor fan also, just finishes of the look. Overall super impressed with functionality and pleased with the look

Pros: Looks beautiful, solid quality internal shelves, pizza setting on fan oven which heats from bottom giving the perfect crispy base pizza. Draw in base with plenty of space. Timer settings etc so can have supper ready when you get inCons: The stainless steel gathers fingerprints more easily than others I've owned. Timer buttons are a bit fiddly not very touch sensitive. Delivery was very slow 13 weeks!

Solidly Built Range Cooker!

We bought this just over a year ago, for a new kitchen (all brushed stainless steel). It is really solid and the adjustable legs meant it would be perfectly flush with our granite work surfaces. It is fairly easy to keep clean, with a monolithic stainless steel surface around the burners. One thing to note - the oven temperature gauge is not very accurate - not really a problem once you get used to the ovens. We added a few internal temperature gauges, that help precisely control the internal oven temperatures. And it is great to have two ovens!! Have had nothing but excellent service from both John Lewis and Bertazzoni. Recommended if you are willing to pay for quality.

Style over substance

Although it looks and feels great, the apparent quality of this cooker is misleading. Since purchasing through JL we have had a number of problems including failed oven seals and the analogue thermostat (which has always been inaccurate) ceasing to work completely. More significantly two of the heating elements have also failed rendering the cooker inoperable, as to try involves tripping all the electrics in the house. We have been obliged to use the licensed Bertazzoni repair company for the repairs. This has been a Kafka-esque nightmare and now, after over seven weeks, scores of phone calls and the payment of several hundred pounds (beware - the parts are extremely expensive), the appliance has still not been fixed.Approach with extreme caution!

The problem with the cooker is that the thermometer is ornamental. It does not accurately measure the heat of the oven. The other challenge is trying to figure out exactly where the exact temperature is on the dial, it only shows 50, 100, 150 & 200. If you want to cook at 180c then you can get close enough but it will never be accurate. But what makes it worse is that the thermometer will show the temperature to be between 220 -240c when its approx 180c. We tried telling the engineers the problem and they tested the temperature in the oven which was fine, but what the manufacturer simply could not understand was that the thermometer on the oven is not in sync with anything.
