This little tent is great to set up and pack away but our others campers informed us when we were inside with a tent light on, we cast strong shadows. Basically people can see your shadows when dressing/undressing. Thats why its only getting 3 stars. Fine if you are in a remote area but not so great when a lot of other campers are around.

Easy enough to put up if you remember the black wolf label of the fly goes at the front. Certainly roomy enough for 2 people and we sat on foldable stools in the vestibule when it was cold outside. We put a small groundsheet under the vestibule cut from an old black wolf tent, so it was the perfect shape. We haven't tested it in high winds or rain yet, but it was warm enough in a cold night. Remember to take a claw hammer to deal with the in and outs of the huge pegs. We are using lighter pegs to hold the windows open. We have separated the fly to be carried in a separate duffle bag which works well for us.

Used only 5 times this tent shaped item does not perform as a tent in winds that left our other, older tents intact. Black Wolf's warranty does not cover "adverse weather conditions". We are a camping family of many years who have always trusted this brand as quality and so spent considerable $ on this tent, confident it would perform like our other older Black Wolf products. SHAME Black Wolf. It seems you've gone the way of other formerly premium brands and are now producing junk but without the cheap price tag.

Very happy with this Black Wolf turbo XL 240 tent. Good size for 2 people, warm, good height and stands up to strong wind well. Front vestibule space is very usable, it’s quick and easy to put up and down as advertised. Just the one suggestion- have another power inlet for when that side is being used as the entry.
The tent is a good size for a quick getaway for one or two people or as an overflow tent when family camping. Thankfully I attempted to erect the tent at home prior to taking it away camping. Unfortunately the fly was missing a side window and the tent was missing the right-hand eyelet support for the vestibule pole. Very poor QA and extremely disappointing from Black Wolf. I also own a Turbo Plus tent and was previously very impressed with their products. Now I am in the process of sending the tent back to Anaconda for warranty replacement.
My X-Lite has just travelled 18000kms over 65days through some of the harshest outback country. Most stops were over night. This tent is durable, handles all conditions, easy to setup and pack away single handed. The head space is a huge bonus, being able to stand up to get dressed is great for us old blokes with dodgy backs. the front vestibule is the bees knees. I was able to leave dirty boots outside the tent, and room enough to store camp chairs at night and not have a wet seat for breakkie. A huge thanks to the Team at Snowys who recommended this to me for my expedition. They were right on the money, and so is this tent.
We set up a practice run the backyard (recommend this) before in the Stirling Ranges on the weekend. We had very strong winds and rain, while others popped their supports, our Black Wolf Rolls Royce of Tents stayed firm.
We are very happy with our new turbo X lite, we've used it twice so far and find it very roomy especially for my tall husband. We like the quality of fabric, zips and windows, the vestibule is a great size and again tall enough for a 6 foot fellow to stand up and put boots on, also easy to set up, except for vestibule pole which takes a bit of work. Now for the not so good bits - there is no window or door in the back of the tent, which will constrain air flow and views, we'll need to consider the direction we set it up in future, the front vestibule pole is quite tricky to fit and slide through its little sleeve, haven't figured out an easy way to do this yet. Last complaint is a lack of a front door mat, but we can always bring along a bit if a tarp to cover ... MoreWe are very happy with our new turbo X lite, we've used it twice so far and find it very roomy especially for my tall husband. Having had a turbo tent before we knew what to expect. Good quality and features, easy to set up and pack away. I did find that the Flys reinforcing patches did not quite line up with mating tent parts at first and took quite some adjustments so they sat close enough. A bonus is that I could pack it away with the fly still semi attached in the generous sized bag, gonna make it even quicker and easier for set ups. Very happy upon 1st set up.
i had the canvas turbo tent prior to this; this is much easier, no worries with this tent of the fly needing additional poles and ropes. A warm tent and I am very very impressed by the ease of setting up and taking down. The vesitbule is quite large with a range of options; open up one side wall or both, close the side walls and open the front. the internal window closure is great too. I have had 7 tents; all excellent and expensive tents; i highly recommend this. Lightweight and plenty of room and strong.
