After extensive online and instore research we purchased this 9kg Serie8 front load washing machine from Winnings Appliances .Winnings were wonderful in their handling of the purchase, delivery, installation and removal of our 18 year old top load washer in an impressively efficient and seamless manner. Despite a critical supply chain period, which made our research a little difficult, as we had to balance availabilty over production selection, we feel we have made an excellent choice in the Bosch Serie 8 front load 9kg washer. We were particularly impressed by delivery from Winnings with their text advice of a 2 hour delivery window. Well done Winnings. The machine handles wash loads with ease and machine operates super quiet and there are many settings to choose. Very happy with this product selection.

30 year veteran of clothes washing here and 1st time user of a front loader... Pros: Quiet wash; water and detergent efficient; lots of wash cycles to choose from; ability to pause wash and open door; cleans clothes well. Cons: Bending down to add/remove clothes; no 'towel' setting which would be handy; end of wash notification beep is too loud and repetitive; water pools up in the seal after each wash which needs to be removed; when door is left open after wash some water will drip to the floor. Overall: great machine, built solid and well, no regrets choosing a Bosch (German made, as opposed to made in Turkey).

I’m very happy with this machine and the service from appliances online. They were the cheapest online by a couple hundred dollars. They delivered quickly and without a fuss and the delivery guy was tops. I had a LG washer prior to this and it was a dud from the day I got it so I was very nervous to purchase a washing machine incase it was thousands down the drain again. I can confirm that this washer is fabulous and I can’t get over how quiet it is! My LG sounded like a rocket ship about to take off when spinning, but not the Bosch, it’s super quiet. This is my first front loader and I researched a lot. It is a super quiet, easy to use machine. It has exasperated our ‘water hammer’ in our pipes (which was only happening every now and then and now required a plumbing to try and fix) due to the amount of times this washing machine opens and closes the water outlet. It does this as it sensors how much water is needed for each load. It does this superbly and uses minimal water. We had some clothes shrinking issues on the 1400rpm setting and it also made our towels very rough so now I only use 1200rpm spin for most things. It is exceptionally quiet. The drum is very small. Smaller than an Asko 8kg as compared with a relatives machine. This machine has been working great for our family of 6. We had a 6.5kg Bosch front loader that lasted 14 years. This Serie 8 is much quieter and does a fantastic job spin drying the washing, which makes air drying the clothes, towels, linens a lot faster. The Serie 8 is made in Germany, which is great. We went for the model that doesn’t have the wifi/smartphone connectivity since we don’t need those gimmicks. In my opinion, it is the best bang for your buck. A fabulous machine. Highly recommended.

Another reason behind my decision was that it was manufactured and engineered in Germany as they have an excellent reputation. A family member has the same brand and is very happy also. If like me you were seeking the 30min cycle there was no where to say how. * Just hit the Speed Perfect button and the time will change from 15 to 30mins ! ** After you are finished and turn your washer off the machine will automatically revert back to your usual washing cycle. ** And the panel where you select water temp and the rest is very touchy .... don't get me wrong, simple to use but I brushed against it and it changed my water temp, maybe for future models it would benefit with less of a touch sensitive panel.
