Pros: I have the large one for home and the small one for traveling, the convenience of being able to brown your meat on the stove and then slowly finish the cooking process in the slow cooker keeping all the moisture in is fantastic. I've found cooking on auto you get less shrinking in your meat, highly recommend.Cons: None

Very happy with the flavour-sealing metal insert-dish. It sears the meat/veg well before you add other ingredients and pop in the slow cooker. Saves on washing up a frying pan. You can't store leftovers in the metal dish in the fridge as you could with the ceramic inserts but that's a small price to pay for cooking convenience. Love it!

We have had one of these for years and love the fact that the insert is heavy duty for stovetop searing. However, someone we lent it to, used the wrong tools and scratched the insert badly. It doesn't look like we can purchase a new insert.
I bought this because my previous 7 litre slow cooker was too big now we are empty nesters. It's perfect for us and I'm have great fun trying new recipes. I really like that this size fits on my cook top (unlike the previous one which was too big) so I'm only cleaning one utensil instead of several.
It is a fantastic appliance, I have used it on my stove to brown steak and onion then into the slow cooker put your veggies in, pour in your stock put the lid on and forget about it for 4/6hrs. a great meal for a cold winters night.Buy one and try it, as I said Fantastic.

Pros: I love this slow cooker. The major good point is that you can saute the meat/vegies in the removable saute pan before returning it to the slow cooker to cook the rest of the dish. This keeps all the flavours in the pan for an enhanced overall flavour. I also really like the automated timer.Cons: None. I love it.
Pros: You can sear/fry prior to slow cook that's really nice! I used it twice so far and the non-stick layer works really well at this stage, easy to wash. Better than the ceramic pot so far. Hope the layer will hold up! Also if handles on pot and lid, no hand burning anymore! Overall very happy with the product.Cons: None so far
I wanted a slow cooker that I could sear in first, and this one doesn't disappoint. Being able to sear in the bowl of the slow cooker saves time, washing up, and adds to the flavour. I have long been a Breville fan and this slow cooker justs cements my loyalty to the brand.
