Works as intended however prior to purchase I read the reviews and noticed alot of people complaining about the filter alarm. It took two days and I now have the alarm needing to be reset at least three or four times per week and like others usually in the middle of the night. Product is great but the malfunctioning filter alarm really makes this a 3.5 star product and a shame Brevillve hasn't addressed the issue.

I thought this would be a great product but it is not. The device is supposed to provide a warning when the filter needs replacement. The first unit i purchased from The Good Guys Castle Hill lasted just two days before telling me the filter needs replacement so i contacted Breville who instructed me to return the item and get a replacement. So the second unit (no doubt from the same batch) has exactly the same fault. Replacement alarm goes off two days after installing the filter. And it goes off every two days, quite often waking me up in the middle of the night. This is a very poor performing product. Next action is to contact fair trading since appliance does not perform advertised function. I note another reviewer has described same fault.

I'll start with the negatives, the first thing i found with this unit was that it is more suited to a single person. We found as a family of 4 the lifespan of the filter was extremely short lived & would require changing quite often. Especially after everyone filling their glass then filling drink bottles for work etc. Something else that was a little disappointing was the size of the pump it takes quite a while to fill a glass.The positives of this unit speaks for itself the water is clean, crisp & refreshing it is almost difficult to describe but once you taste it you can tell the difference instantly. Family members have all commented that they noticed a positive difference in the taste of the water.

After reading instructions it was very easy to set up and use. Serves its intended purpose and is super convenient to use on a daily basis. Only issue is it doesn't allow space for drink bottles so either have to use a funnel or dispense water into cup to then transfer to a bottle. Other than that very easy appliance and very happy with this purchase.

I read about the Breville AquaStation on JB Hi-Fi website. I have used filter jugs for years. The replacement filters do not last as long for the price that you pay. The Breville AquaStation is easy to set up, great tasting water and a large capacity tank. I filter rainwater and it tastes even better now. The AquaStation dispenses the water very quickly and its quiet and the filters last longer. Brilliant product Breville. Cannot wait until my Breville Flask arrives.
I saw this and thought PERFECT for my elderly mum . She was having trouble lifting a heavy jug to fill her glass due to have bad arthritis. She couldn’t unscrew bottles and is not a fan of cold water. Now it’s the push of a button . Thankyou Breville !
Honestly the best tasting water. I have water tanks installed at home so being able to clean my water before drinking is awesome. You can definitely taste the difference it tasted so clean and you could actually see the difference. My tap water had little white floating things In it. I processed it through the breville aqua station and once it filtered through the little white things disappeared. The only let down for me was that the water doesn't come out cold, but overall a great product and worth recommending.
Overall the function is adequate. It filters well and lasts long enough to switch away from bottled water. However, the unit height makes refilling certain bottles difficult also the pump is quite loud, theres no way around the ungodly noise it emits during operation. I would still recommend the product.
