I love love love this perfume and I cannot stop smelling myself since I sprayed it on. It’s a sophisticated soapy /floral/woody fragrance. If you like Chanel no. 5, you would probably like this too. Great longevity and sillage. I have given this 5 stars because I am obviously partial to this beautiful perfume but I will also add that For some time, I have not been able to buy the Hermes Caleche Soie de Parfum or the original EDT in Australia’s leading department store, so I was very happy to find that Cosmetics Now stocked it. So, if I could rate the store’s service separately, i would give another 5 stars for the range of perfume and the very fast delivery. It’s a pleasure to wear this, lots of compliments received too.

A large number of perfumes have been reformulantes and lost their potency, lasting time and even nuances of the scent.Not Calèche. It disappeared for a while from the market, new versions showed up and I thought the new version of Calèche would be not the same. I was wrong. It preserved its elegance, no screeching notes, it has a long staying power and the sillage is perfect.

The first time I tried iCaleche was in a Parfumerie im Germany. I purchased the Soie de Parfum and have loved it ever since. It is a very captivating scent in which you do not need much. The dry down smells powdery and of sandalwood. I just received a compliment on it the other day, " You smell sooo good" I am thrilled that Neimans carries this incredible luxurious fragrance. It is most certainly not your run of the mill fragrance. A very classy, chic and one of a kind fragrance from Hermes. The bottle I received however did not come with the gold cap but a black one. It is still the same beautiful scent that I have loved for years.. Thank you Neimans ❤️
I love the Soie de Parfum version of Caleche. It's the best style of the scent. Subtle and sexy. I have actually had women ask me what it is, and tell me it smells expensive. A classy perfume.
Happy to have found this @ Bloomies as it seems to be disappearing-it is absolutely the most classic, sophisticated fragrance ever. It never fails to get compliments & is never tiresome nor overbearing. If I had to pick one thing to wear (and I am a fragrance junkie w/ a significant fragrance wardrobe), Calechewould be it. Wish they still made bath creme, lotion, talc, deodorant, soap & all other iterations. Do not ever let this wonderful fragrance disappear.
This perfume is heavenly and popular. I love love it and have used it over the years. It's my go to. I have tried new perfumes but I seem to always veer back to Caleche. The smell of the perfume is warm and makes you feel pampered. It definitely smells better in the winter. I love wearing it to weddings.I am glad I managed to get this bottle as I had gone round to many shops where it was sold out.
I have used this perfume for decades but have had quite a long break, having found difficulty in locating a supplier. However, now that It is available from John Lewis, problem solved, but I haven't started to use it yet as I want to finish the one I am currently using, but sure it will be as lovely a perfume as I remember. I can't wait to start using it again, as its perfume would last without having to continually reapply throughout the day or evening and friends and family would always admire and ask what it was. Thank you Hermes.
Calache is one of my ALL time favorites, I've been buying this perfume for years, then it got very difficult to find in the shops near me!!! My husband brought me two bottles of this perfume for my birthday, I was over the moon!!!I know it's expensive, but it's worth it... it lasts a very long time!! Don't be fooled in buying the ones that smell like it, because it's really doesn't!!!It's a pity they don't do gift sets.. I know the perfume sells itself... but it's worth every single penny!!
My favourite fragrance. It makes me feel sexy, happy. Was asked by a young man what am I wearing?I'm over 70 so you see it doesn't matter age. He was going to get that perfume for his girl friend.My husband just love it. Brings back memories. We have been married for 50 years now. Highly recommended.
