Right throughout it's entire range it gives stunning results, rather like a high end prime lens but with usable adjustments on hand.

Best lens I've ever bought! <3 Super sharp, lies perfectly in hands, and has really solid build, and amazing performance! Gonna be most definitely my power horse for weddings and concerts :)

Canons new statement lens that defines its supremacy
Pros: You cannot go wrong with canon glass.excellent lens one of the best I have usedCons: If there was to be a negative point then that would be the lens don’t have image stabilisation.
Pros: All of itCons: No
Nice lens its too heavy but it grow on me
Love it
The IQ on this lens is special. Its big, with a R5 without the grip you are holding the combo from the lens. Made in Japan, this L lens is all about image quality. A little bit of focus breathing make it a better choice for photos rather than videos For videos the RF 24-70 F2.8L IS is probably a more useful lens. I own the 24-105 F4L, the 24-70 F2.8L the 28-70 f2L They are all good lenses for different purposes. For its intended purpose the RF 28-70 F2L is a top lens. I have been waiting a while before pressing the trigger on that lens because of its price but it is now an essential part of my Canon system. I think you get what you pay for with that lens and I can easily recommend that it if you can afford it.
My favorite lens until recently was the 70-200mm f/2.8L USM - truly an epic lens. However the RF 28-70mm in combination with the EOS R is savagely good. It's fast, it's precise and it handles situations with difficult lighting in an awesome way. The bill of this lens (and the EOS R) has definetly caused me some serious headache. I was cured only when I saw the results this lens makes possible. Freakishly good lens! Sell your house to buy this lens? Maybe not. But definetly sell your car ;-)
