Command 17024 Poster Mounting Adhesive Strips - White, Pack of 12

After using tape to hang decorations for my son’s birthday parties and struggling to make sure my paint wasn’t damaged in ripping them off I decided to try these. They work so well to hang banners and other decor and it’s so nice not to worry about the paint being ripped off when it’s time to take them down!

So good! Holds up objects and pictures really well. So far, nothing has dropped or caused any damage. I would use these for everything. Even cut them up to use for unique purposes. Really good product.

Awesome product!

I work in a school library and use various posters and signs throughout the space. I included Command Poster Strips in my supply order for this year and it's the best thing I ordered! No more scraping gooey tape off the walls, windows, library shelves. Easy to use and remove. And...my posters stay on. No more retaping when I come in Monday morning. Give them a try - you'll fall in love with them. Just think of all the places this will come in handy - teen's room, dorm, classroom...

Defective Strips

I bought the Poster Strips 48 count five months ago to use with Christmas decorations. I used 8 strips when purchased and they worked fine. It's now April and the rest of the strips have no sticky adhesive on either side. I'm very disappointed! I have command strips in every room of my home: hanging pictures, decorations, hooks, etc. I always buy the value package since I know I'll need them at some point. What a waste of money.

Defective strip

I bought these to use around my new apartment. I have the hooks hung and I just put up pictures. I woke up the next day and my frame fell off the wall and broke. Then when I went to take the strip off the wall part of the wall came with it. I was under the impression that this product wasn't supposed to damage your walls. I was very disappointed and sad. I had to hang a picture over the damaged wall in order to hide it. I just moved into this apartment and I wanted to leave it in the state I found it without damage. But now I can't.

Easy to use, love the product

I purchased a pack of these to hang some picture frames in our bathroom. Despite the heat and steam in the room since, the three frames I put up are still as solid as ever after about two years since I decorated the room

I bought two value packs of these strips to hang up my many posters after moving in to my new apartment. I cleaned the walls as the packaging said, adhered the strips to the back of one of my posters, and proceeded to try to hang it on the wall. I pressed the strips to the wall for 30 seconds each as instructed, and 30 seconds is about how long my poster stayed on the wall. I tried re-cleaning the wall, but to no avail. I even tried using 9 command strips on a single poster. They are heavy duty posters, but the package advertises a 1 pound weight limit, which they don't even come close to exceeding (they are printed on photo paper, not wood blocks)I would not recommend this product to anyone. Perfect for mounting Posters

Used to mount 4 laminated posters. Tested removal of one of the posters and it left no marks on the walls, as expected. Compared to the alternatives (e.g. double-sided foam and/or thin acrylic tape), this is a winner.

Posters, Pictures, Cork Boards

I use the Value Strips for decorating my 27 yr old autistic sons room. Cork board with pictures of his family. Posters and pictures in his room as well. Because he could get hurt on nails, screws, thumb pins, we had to find an alternative. These are wonderful. His room looks good and he cannot get hurt. Win Win!!!

TEACHERS LIFE SAVER!!

I was about ready to lose my mind until I tried your Command Poster Strips. I moved into a new classroom five years ago. I teach science so I have a large lab/classroom. About 98% of the wall surface in my classroom is painted cinder block. When I saw this large white box of a room I was excited to add my personal touch with posters and charts. I spent an entire day before our back to school open house decorating my classroom with my posters/charts and heavy duty book tape. Once I was pleased with how my room looked I left for the evening.Upon my arrival the next day I found almost all of my posters laying on the ground. When I tried to pull the tape off of the poster the picture came right along with it ruining the poster. I was VERY upset that I had wasted SO MUCH time and also money since a number of posters had been ruined!After trying several other types of tape, rubber cement, and adhesive crafters glue I was about to give up. My students would be stuck with a large white box for a classroom, rather cell as this is how it felt.AH HA! When walking through our local super store one day I spied your 3M poster strips. I thought, "Why Not?" It was certainly worth a try.I was SO EXCITED to find that your poster strips were the solution to my problem. I am now starting my 5th year of teaching in this classroom and my posters are still hanging! I have also used your wall hooks to hang a larger periodic table chart and some holiday lights at Christmas time.I can't thank you enough for your amazing Command products. 3M has so many GREAT products for the classroom.
