I used these all throughout my four years of college, it was something I bought every time I moved somewhere new! These are a must have if you are renting a place and want to hang posters or small tapestries without ruining the paint on the walls. I have never had an issue with it staying in place or during removal. Super easy and effective to use! The price also isn’t bad considering you get to hang things up without ruining the walls.

I used these to hang up posters in my kids rooms. Used on drywall and wood doors. No problems with getting it to stick and posters have not unintentionally moved. Easy to remove from wall when wanting to move posters around or take down. No residue left behind and did not damage wood or paint.

Coasting on Name Alone

This was by far the worst product I have ever used. The glue chemist who came up with this formula used the weakest compound possible. Of course I made this mistake of buying in bulk which rubs salt into the wound. After my first failed attempt, I put 12 tabs onto a 16x24" poster, washed and dried the wall, stuck the poster to the wall, held it for a minute, and within 5 seconds the poster had fallen down. This was a smooth, flat, and clean wall. About as perfect to lab conditions as a purchaser can realistically recreate and the product failed miserably. You would be better off using any product other than this one.

Command Changes Packaging Sizes to Help Artists

Sizing: You should keep the breakdowns of Small, Medium, Large in Strength in separate packaging especially when you need them for a large photography show. And put 20-30 each in one size. OK to keep a mixed group in its own packaging for those that need it. When I bought them I was lucky to find a package at Michael’s with multiple sizes but none with separate sizing. In my case I needed more Heavy Strength. I had to use multiple small strength to compensate. When you are in the middle of a show this is ridiculous to waste that extra time. The work was purposely not framed. The ease of use was ok. Do not recommend the Velcro ones. Didn’t work. The other thing is you charge entirely too much money per package for your products. Excellent product!

We use hundreds of these to "wallpaper" our church when we decorate for VacationBible School. We have turned our church into a castle, an underwater world, a French street, and more. We also cut them in half and use the little bits to hang small posters. We have been using them for five years and have not removed any paint from the walls. Make sure you apply them so you can get to the tab( has no sticky on it), and really make sure you you remove them correctly. Follow the directions and pull the tab so it is parallel to the wall it is on, and it literally pops off with no damage to the wall. They did change the product about a year ago and the sticky oart of the strip is a tiny bit smaller. Holiday decorating champion!

These work great! I decorate extra for the holidays and these are perfect for leaving no marks when the decorations came down. I end up with extra hooks after the sticky has been used and these poster strips fit perfect on recycled hooks!

It's a stick-up!

If it wasn't for Command Strips my walls would be bare! These poster strips are great for attaching lightweight items to any kind of surface, without damage to either. The strips quite literally do what the makers say they will, ie, they attach to surfaces firmly (and stay attached for indefinite periods of time) and can be removed by gently pulling the bottom of the strip downwards, thus releasing it from the surface, and no marks or sticky residues are left behind - this applies to all the different types of Command Strips available. I've used these strips, and others in the range, over the last 5-6 years and have only ever had one fail, which I think is a pretty good recommendation in itself. Necessary to have around for odds and ends

These work just as they are described. You can safely use on any surface and remove it completely when needed. There is no residue or remnants left behind -- so long as they are properly placed on products. You need to follow the directions on the package and leave the tab out to easily pull when you remove the product. These are very durable and work over an extended period of time, in our case, some number of years for some products we have used these for. This is a very ingenious design, and I am so glad there's finally a product like this for when I need it! Highly recommended for just about anything whenever you may need them!

Ruins your walls- don’t use!

I bought these to hang posters in my son’s room- a new room we just had built. I wanted to make sure the new walls/paint weren’t damaged. When we decided to move one of the posters & take the Command strip off the wall, it took the new paint & drywall with it! Don’t use these if you don’t want to damage your wall!

They Work, But They’re Limited

They’re good for posters. We used them to stick up wooden letters on a wooden door. The 1/2-inch tape had to be trimmed so it wouldn’t show behind the letter it held—but so far, it’s holding. Good adhesion, ugly white hybrid foam tape hanger.
