Companion 12V Camp Shower

Gave it a test run and there was more leaking out of the side of the shower rose that the actual rose itself. On closer inspection I noticed the rose was a bit loose, i went to tighten the screw in the centre off the rose and it just spun around (stripped thread) Not a big deal as luckily had slightly bigger stainless screw that fitted and sealed the rose and now the shower works fine. I know nearly everything is made in China these days but would have thought a Primus product would have had a bit better quality control. Snowy delivery and service is as good as always :)

I bought this to fill the little water tanks under the seat in my small teardrop caravan directly. It'll be faster than poking the hose in the water port on the side of the caravan and waiting for the levels to equalise between them, especially when the caravan is not level. However, I now use it to empty the big water collection bins under my ducted air conditioner unit and the dog's pool. It pumps out the water surprisingly fast. I use a mains power to 12v step-down transformer as my caravan is all mains power. After a recent hernia operation it saves me lifting heavy buckets of water. A really good little pump.

This is a great shower, and really good value. The instructions in the packaging say to make sure the washer is installed in the shower head. You take a look, and yes, there's a black washer-like object installed there. Fire away, and water pours out at the junction. THE REAL WASHER (PLUS A SPARE AND A SOARE FUSE) is in a tiny plastic clip lock bag inside the grey carry bag. It's not itemised, but it's there AND MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Be careful not to throw it out!
