The positives: It beats a stock Intel cooler by 10-15C. It comes with an LGA 1700 bracket, the directions are easy to follow, and the copper base has plenty of surface area. That's about it.The negatives: The fan clips are atrocious. Seriously, be ready to dig them out from your motherboard when they fall off - the only thing keeping them in place is mounting pressure, so you may need to clear out some components before install.

CPU just kept overheating and I just wasnt sure why, even after I reapplied thermal paste and changed to a weaker GPU. So I spent a bunch of time looking for a cooler. Wanted a water cooler for the CPU, but saw this one was available for same day delivery. Took a chance on it. And its been amazing. No high temps, and Ive been able to upgrade my GPU and temps remain cool during intense gameplay. Easy install.

My second Cooler Master tower. Double check to ensure you have the space to accommodate a tower.This version could use a second fan, and I wouldn't use it without adding one.All told, pretty straight forward installation. Other than that, RGB or not, your choice. Can't go wrong with this tower air cooler.

Thanks to the good directions, clearly marked parts and a sufficient number of parts (giving building the cooler a puzzle kind of feel) I had a great sense of satisfaction when the cooler settled into place on top of the processor.The parts are high quality - I didn't feel like I was going to break something with each touch.Once installed, the cooler has done its job - I have never seen the CPU get over 75 degrees Celsius and the CPU has been able to stay at the boost frequency for extended lengths of time. Matches my cooler master case! It Keeps my 13600k cool when gaming! Performs better than 240 aio! Thats from personal experience not an online review! I dont know how it would perform with an 13700k or 13900k but its perfect for my 13600k! Highley recommended and I will buy again!
My AIO pump went out and needed something to replace it that day or I was going to be out a pc for awhile. Easy install, instructions could be a little bit more in depth. But other than that it’s been great! Was going to order another aio, but with how this has been performing there is no need in it. I7-10700k oc to 4.8 from bios. Underload cpu stay between 60-65c. And I run the included fan at max at all times just personal preference. If you need something cheap but performs above expectations. This is the thing you need.
I have been using this style of cooler for years. Price used to be right for the performance that it gave. That in mind if you are thinking of pairing this with a i5,i7 or R5 or R7 I would recommend to get something better. I bought a new PC and heat is your enemy, this CPU cooler is a major upgrade from the OEM setup.Cooler Master make great radiator coolers and they are relatively easy to install. all the required hardware is in the box and thermal paste. On a new PC the CPU has thermal paste on it when you pull the OEM cooler. As long as you have coverage you don't need the paste in the kit. I just added a small drop to what was there so there wouldn't be a problem.Even if you are new to computers, this is an easy upgrade. you are really going to screw in 4 screws and clip on the fan with the spring clamps provided. The Hyper 212 was the budget king for many years for air cooling. That title has been passed onto several other coolers in the sub-30 price range. The Hyper 212 has gone through several redesigns, with the latest version giving it a black finish and an RGB fan. The cooling performance has been improved a bit, but the installation method hasn't. If you've installed a 212 in the past, it's pretty much the same. If you need something in a pinch, this will do. I'd prefer something from Noctua.
When I was building my rig last December, I decided to get a better cooling system for the 11th Gen i5 I recently purchased. I didn't have enough to go all out with a liquid cooled system and decided to go with the Cooler Master cooling fan. I will say after nearly two years of having this cooling fan in my rig, I have had zero problems with CPU temperature. One feature I like about this model is the ability to disassemble it without taking it completely off the motherboard. I did this last week when I was cleaning all of the fans and heat sinks in the rig. For the price of the cooling fan and how well it has performed for me, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a slight upgrade in their CPU cooling system.
