I broke my last two headsets due to cheap build quality, so I decided this time around I'd look for something of higher quality. After finding this pair, I was a bit hesitant as it was priced much higher than my last two sets, but after looking at video reviews of this headset, I bit the bullet. Now owning it, I am very glad I decided to purchase this headset. The build quality is exactly what I was looking for, and the quality of the sound and microphone is phenomenal for the price.I especially like how I can use two devices with this headset at once without interruption. One device can be connected with the 3.5mm jack, and another can be connected through either USB mode, which also charges the headset, or wireless mode. You can also charge the headset while in wireless mode, but at that point you might as well switch it to USB mode for better sound and mic quality. The sound quality is amazing, and you can fine-tune the equalizer settings through Corsair's iCUE software. This software can also be used to change the color, mode, and intensity of the RGB logo, change sidetone levels, and more. The microphone quality is also amazing, and you really can't find anything near it's level at the price, especially taking into account how the headset can be used wirelessly. The only thing I wish this headset had was support for bluetooth connection; however, it was not a deal-breaker for me - the USB wireless adapter is more than good enough. For me, this headset is quite comfortable. The ear cups are a bit shallow, but my ears still don't touch the drivers inside. I have heard that for people with larger heads, the headset can be a bit uncomfortable after prolonged uses, but I personally don't have this issue. The first day I wore this headset, it was a little uncomfortable, but after that they were just fine.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. The build, sound, and mic quality are outstanding and well worth the $180.

The XT does it all, wireless to my pc and Bluetooth to my phone. All at the same time. The audio quality is fantastic and the only reason it gets 4/5 is due to iCue. For some reason if you run the headset on USB mode you can’t adjust the side tone or equaliser. The sliders just do nothing. This only appear to work with the wireless dongle. The headset is comfortable for long session even with glasses on though the cups are a bit on the form and smaller side so humid you have a big noggin and ears like me it may not be a complete over the ear experience. Other reviews have knocked the XT for its sound isolation. If found this to be incredible at cutting out background noise(not noise cancellation) and is great even in an office environment. I highly recommend these ... MoreThe XT does it all, wireless to my pc and Bluetooth to my phone. All at the same time. The audio quality is fantastic and the only reason it gets 4/5 is due to iCue. I've used tons of other headsets cheap and expensive and I've never had this issue before. When I noticed this issue I installed corsair's software, which I thought might fix the problem and improve the functionality but their software actually made this thing function WORSE as in more apps have the issue after installing the software than before (for example discord didn't have the issue before, but now with the software installed if I walk away and back into range, I have to leave the call I'm in and rejoin or there's no audio). I've never seen a peripheral's software actually make the product function worse than without it. Amazing.Since the software made it worse, I tried uninstalling it. After doing this the mic just permanently stopped working until I reinstalled. I troubleshooted this in every way possible, it still shows up under audio input devices but just refuses to work with windows, discord, or any other apps I tried.Corsair, I will never purchase another one of your headsets ever again. I've bought $40 garbage head sets from Wal Mart that were better than this. Do yourself a favor and get something from Logitech instead.

Contacted seller, who was great working with me after noticing they were for PC/ PS4 not XBOX before shipping. I asked him to send anyway and he did and I'm glad he did. They will work with XBOX plugged into the controller and wireless with the PC. After researching although they are wireless, you can only get a certain amount of the full high fidelity over air opposed to plugged in. NOT the headphones fault, just that is currently where technology is at right now. The microphone sounds AMAZING. Hearing it while gaming with my wife in the other room, then literally sound podcast/ professional quality grade, I was blown away. If any complaint would be they are amazing for gaming with AMOS Dolby running through them as every sound is heard from all directions, if you play pure music through them it tends to separate the the music to well and.makes.it.sound.somewhat different. But that is normal for 3D sound you may want to disable that for straight music. The Bass could also be beefer, but that is not what these are really for, the are.more clarity and quality, not shaking the screws lose from the hardware by bass. Nice purchase, great deal, great seller, highly reccomend.
I bought this headset together with a 3XS system (Win 11 on 12th gen i9 + Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Hero). This headset sounds great and performs well but only if and to the extent it actually works all!! I find that it suffers from way too many stability issues. The sound constantly crackles, hisses, distorts, or breaks up (identical to many issues reported elsewhere on the Internet). On top of all that, the audio completely dies from time to time and then I have to reboot my PC to fix it, plus I cannot use any "sound quality" setting above 16bit/FM radio, and I cannot use the iCUE software either (using iCUE makes this headset even more unstable). If you play any game which relies on voice comm, you wouldn’t be able to trust this thing to be stable enough to not cause any issue during a match. SCAN's customer support suggested changing the motherboard drivers and this seemed to solve the issue temporarily but the issue keeps on recurring and there seems to be no reliable permanent fix. This headset works perfectly fine without any issue with my PS4 and iPhone, so most likely the root cause is the driver/firmware, and/or compatibility issue with the particular 3XS system I bought. This is supposed to be a top-end premium headset and it's extremely disappointing to say the least. When a humble speaker plugged into a monitor driven by your GFX card sounds better, you have to question the value proposition of this headset. If you are considering buying this headset, I would advise you to be careful; depending on your PC's set up, it might disappoint you as well.
My previous set were Corsair 1500 Vengeance which I fondly enjoyed for 6+ years. I tried the Void range but found the sound clarity poor, but I wonder if I just had a rare case of a bad batch, so I decided to treat myself with this set.Wow this set is incredible. The range is SO GOOD. I use headphones mainly for music, but I am a fanboy for Corsair, so it had to be a Headset from them. Bass is amazing and it doesn't smother out the higher-range sound. The sound quality is just simply amazing, compared to my old headset, through Stereo and 7.1 Surround. The battery life is fantastic for me. I would never be on the PC longer than 8-9 hours MAX so having up to 20 hours of battery power is great! It fits very comfortably on my head, one flaw I find with these is they ... MoreMy previous set were Corsair 1500 Vengeance which I fondly enjoyed for 6+ years. I would never be on the PC longer than 8-9 hours MAX so having up to 20 hours of battery power is great! It fits very comfortably on my head, one flaw I find with these is they don't fully surround my ears unlike my 1500 Vengeance headset, so every now and again I have to take them off to give my ears a rest from being pressed. If they were 5-10mm larger they would be perfect, in my opinion.Another minor issue I have found with them is it somehow messes with my Internet connection. I presume it's due to it using a wireless dongle, but when I turn my PC off, I have to make sure I have stopped these being the Default sound output device, otherwise the next time I load my PC up, it seems to conflict with my internet connection. I am not sure if it's caused by an issue on my PC or the Headset's drivers them self, so I am not sure if I can say this is a drawback or not.I haven't used the microphone so I can't critique it's quality.I find the two issues I have with these are heavily out-weighed by the positives.OverallPositives:-Battery LifeSound RangeSound ClarityAmazing BassWireless RangeCan be used with anything that has Aux 3.5mm compatibilityRGB (I mean, of course!)Negatives:-Pads aren't wide enough to not irritate the ears after long periods of use.Cause issues with internet connection if loaded PC has them as Default Sound Output (Though could be an issue on my PC, not the Headset them self, so take that with a pinch of salt).9/10 Highly recommend!
Extremely disappointed in these. I looked everywhere I could online and talked to friends before I bought these and heard nothing but good things about them. I was finally ready to drop more than 100 dollars to switch over to a decent wireless experience after having countless headaches dealing with 3.5mm audio jacks and cables dangling between me and my PC.I knew I wasn’t going to keep these after my first 2 hours with them. Not only were they very heavy, which I would normally associate with build quality, but it felt like a desk clamp was attached to my head. On top of that, my ears were being pushed against the speaker surface inside in the ear cups, which would become painful after even just 15 minutes of use. On top of that, my ears were being pushed against the speaker surface inside in the ear cups, which would become painful after even just 15 minutes of use. Maybe it’s just the size of my head and ears, but no amount of adjustment would fix the discomfort and pain these things gave me.I’m not an audiophile by any means but I also noticed that the sound quality wasn’t anywhere near as good as my HyperX Cloud Stinger S headset, which is barely a 3rd of the cost. Even after messing around with the equalizer and using various recommended EQ settings from people online, it was a noticeable dip in audio quality from what I was used to. My HyperX headset required no audio tuning and sounded great as it was.My last big gripe with these things is the same gripe that I have with all other Corsair products: iCUE. It’s a software that you’re supposed to use to control the lighting and other functions of Corsair hardware connected to your PC. You need to have iCUE open in the background to use many of the custom settings for things like lighting effects, and the problem with this is that it’s even more of a memory hog than Chrome. It used anywhere between 350 and 500MB of RAM just sitting there in the background. Along with being generally confusing, buggy and often unresponsive, iCUE is something I don’t want to deal with. I’m sure there’s some way around iCUE for most things like lighting and EQ adjustment, but most people are going to end up using iCUE for this, and it’s just a bad program that you should avoid using if you can.The sound quality and iCUE would’ve been tolerable to me if it weren’t for the physical pain and discomfort this headset causes me after 20 minutes on my head. I’m not sure what exactly you’re getting for the $180 here. Is that just the premium you pay for going wireless? I don’t know. It’s definitely one of the better looking headsets I’ve seen, and it looks and feels like it’s made of high-end materials which could allow this thing to have a long lifespan, but those are the only two nice things I have to say about the virtuoso. It’s nowhere near worth the $180 I paid for this thing and it baffles me that it can’t match the comfort and sound quality of a $60 HyperX headset. I’m really hoping to find a wireless headset that can fill that role, and sadly this isn’t it.
Overall this headset is alright. I've had it for over a year and I can say that with my experience I wouldn't recommend it. The Corsair Virtuoso is very sturdy but comfortable. The overall build is great but that's not where this headset's flaws show. Even though the ear pads are very comfortable, your ears do get very hot after a while. On top of that, the way you connect and disconnect these pads are easy but very breakable as they are made of plastic. The RGB works great but that doesn't mean there aren't issues with its connection with the ICUE software. There are some strange issues I've had with the software that are hard to explain but they are not game breaking and just are annoyances. There are some strange issues I've had with the software that are hard to explain but they are not game breaking and just are annoyances. The two main reasons you won't want to buy this headset are due to the usb dongle breaking making it not usable for wireless connection and the usb c plug on the headset used for wired mode also breaking. After around 6 months of use my dongle randomly broke and with no avail I couldn't ever fix it. I didn't bother trying to buy a new one because they were not buyable and I decided I could use the wired mode instead. After around another 7 months of use, the usb c connector on the headset became loose and cables will randomly unplug or the headset will become unresponsive even though the cable is plugged in. The mic is alright but not worth it for the $140 price. I'm giving this headset a 3 out of 5. There are many other headsets that are better than the one here.
i got these on sale for $139. I looked around and i thought that I found the perfect headset for gaming, music, and YouTube etc..ill start off with the build of it. AMAZING it feels super quality and there's metal on the headphones, but it doesn't make it too heavy. my last pair of corsair headphones, the earcup came off with no way to re attach or attach a new one, but these are replaceable which is nice. which leads to my second point. The earcups, first out of the box they felt like Styrofoam and they crunched when i put them on, but with some time that went away. also the earcups are VERY shallow and my ears are constantly rubbing against the sides of the headphones which makes these uncomfortable to wear for a long time. but a simple solution to this would ... Morei got these on sale for $139. Even in the ICUE software the presets are also awful. i had to make my own Eq preset and after 2 hours of making this preset i found a very good preset which is good for gaming, music, and YouTube etc.. Still i think for 139 these should come with at LEAST decent sound quality out of the box. my old HS60 pros had WAY better sound quality out of the box. though with the preset it sounds very good and ill post a picture if anyone wants to try mine.(I listen to rock, metal, punk, and alt. rock so the sound may not be as good for you depending on your genre of music)Other things...the headset doesn't have an off button which i think is weird but its not too much off an issue I guess because you can sett it to sleep after 10 min. of idling. the wireless range says that its 60 feet, but the sound quality drops significantly after just 10 ft. and it completely loses sound after just 20-25 ft.(this may be for me because of my walls.) I didn't notice a difference between wired and wireless which is good. The battery life is ok, i had to charge it 4 hrs after i got it and you can charge while your using it, but it protrudes into your shoulder and its just very uncomfortable. both the charging cable and the aux are decently made but their not very long.Overall: If you're willing to put the time in to fix the Eq settings and get new earpads then i feel that these are a good choice. But if you're not then i wouldn't recommended this to you. I left all the peels on because I'm still deciding if im going to return it.
