Corsair VOID Elite Wireless 7.1 RGB Gaming Headset Carbon

Very disappointed with the product: no matter what I tried the sound would go with interruptions, some interruptions would be as long as couple of seconds - totally unacceptable when gaming, and this product was kinda made for gaming.Conventional speakers work fine, which makes me think this device suffers from interference, have no ideas how to avoid this. There is also no fallback option to listen to music via cable (supplied cable is only for charging).Have to admit I am using other Corsair products in my current build, and dissatisfied with pretty much all of them, but this product is the most annoying one.You also need to have iCue software constantly running in background, which takes a lot of time to run when Windows starts (on the top-tier PC).

I've used this headset for 4 years. It's still going strong and I am not going to deny that the sound quality is not bad at all. There are two issues, however. One is iCUE is a buggy thing. I got a Corsair mouse and... while two works great, clicking a cycle button on your mouse will change your headphone setting, like muting your mic for unknown reason. The other one is the ear sponge. It's detachable but the part where the sponge gets attached to the frame is thin leather like material over fabric. This deteriorates over time and now I am in need of buying a new headset despite of the headset working absolutely fine.

Charging problems with LED and battery capacity

Bought this for my ps5. Comes with a dongle and seemed to connect to the headset immediately.Manual asks to charge fully before using for the first time indicated by a green led light. I charged for 8 hours and still the led light showed amber. It also asks to remove charging cable shortly after it is fully charged.Upon investigation this is a problem with the headset as far back as 2018 were it may get to 80% or 90% charge (scene via their forums acknowledged by the company) posts as recent as a couple of months ago show this a ongoing problem. Will return this product tomorrow.

Excellent Quality, One Problem

I bought this not long ago. The sound quality on the speakers is great with good equaliser software to go with them. Probably one of the most comfortable headsets I've ever worn.Microphone is a little quieter than average and does require a slight boost with 3rd-party audio software. One problem I do have right now with this headset is, for some reason, my headset is transmitting a pop over voice communications originating from my microphone. I have no idea if this is a standard issue with this particular model or if it's just a fault with the headset I have. Despite every attempt to isolate and fix the issue it keeps happening and despite all of my troubleshooting, no one else seems to have this problem with this headset. Will be seeking an exchange or refund ... MoreI bought this not long ago. Excellent wireless headphones

Replaced some older corsair HS60's.great for music and games.bass is superb, treble is clear and not tinny.Best listening experience is when set to stereo, the surround thing is a bit of a gimmick but that's subjective.Corsair ICUE is a lot better than it used to be, had no issues setting up the headset and updating firmware. For use on pc id recommend connecting the wireless adaptor to a usb port on the front of your case or use an extension cord. When plugged into mobo there was some interference.Overall build quality is good and they feel sturdy, on par with sennheiser, logitech etc.Super comfortable, they have some weight which is expected with the whole wireless thing but the foam parts are good quality and don't feel hot.

Good Design, Mediocre Features, Bad Battery

I bought this headset as a replacement for an old plantronics headset that I had owned for a couple years and this is what I thought:The memory foam at the top of the headset makes it really comfortable and the headset has different EQ levels which is another plus. On the other hand though, I find that the ear cups can be a bit irritating with heating up your ears and the position of the Volume control sometimes had me on my toes when my chair made the volume go to max. I’ve had this headset for a couple months now and immediately after only some weeks I found that the swivelling mic no longer can hang in the middle of the arc and will just fall back down. Back to the other features though, I saw that the battery can be a pain sometimes with it’s short capacity ... MoreI bought this headset as a replacement for an old plantronics headset that I had owned for a couple years and this is what I thought:The memory foam at the top of the headset makes it really comfortable and the headset has different EQ levels which is another plus. Back to the other features though, I saw that the battery can be a pain sometimes with it’s short capacity and even shorter capacity if you use the RGB lights with it, sometimes my headset hasn’t even charged for no reason and can even switch off abruptly when there’s still battery. Another pro is the RGB that at the same time is a con because of it’s impact on the battery and makes you wonder why RGB on a wireless headset would be that good of an idea. Finally, as one last problem of mine, you can’t know how much battery you have without checking the app, or if not you have to listen to the voice assistant that (thank god) you can turn off. That’s my thoughts on it, mostly negative but it has its moments and pros I’ve probably forgotten.

Just get hyper x

The headset worked perfect for the first 2 weeks of owning then sound kept cutting out until it just broke. Took it back and got a new one which was fine for a bit then started having problems again. This headset feels cheap, doesnt sound great and is just overall an overpriced piece of garbage. I wish i bought a Hyper x as they are substancially better for the money.

Left ear with buzzing noise

Right now I have to give 1 star. The quality overall is very good, design is beautiful.Overall the sound quality is amazing (at least for the right ear side). For the left ear side, I was buzzing which was really annoying. I had to return and I am currently waiting for the new one to arrive.I tried with and without the iCUE installed (with latest version). Also tried on different computer, but the buzzing was still there. Looked like the membrane / protective cloth of the speaker was damaged inside, making this buzzing noise.

Nothing but constant issues and terrible software

Since day one I have had issues. First of which was delayed sounds for discord. I'm not sure why the headset is certified by Discord if their software makes it bug.Recently after having the headset for over a year now, the headset turns off for no reason, makes noise in my ears that have no meaning and are extremely loud.I wouldn't recommend buying this product at all, especially as there are far better options in the price bracket

Terrible! Much worse than the previous model

I've been a corsair fan for a long time, this is my 3rd set of corsair headphones and I must say that these are by far the worst I've ever had. The speakers are really loud but the mic is incredibly soft and muffled. I tried everything including the forums to find a fix but nobody knows. The worst part is that this seems to be a common problem with this model.I also found them uncomfortable and they start hurting your ears after about an hour. I wish I could send them back but because they are a wearable device, you cannot send them back once opened.
