Costa Del Mar Reefton Unisex Sunglasses - RFT01OSSGLP

These are very cheaply made. The only thing quality is the box and case.I highly doubt they are real Costa. The lenses are not clear and no matter how much you try and clear/clean them they are still blurry. I have bought sunglasses from gas stations that are better made. Be ware. You get what you pay for and these are barely $2 glasses. I bought 2 pair due to price. Learned my lesson.

Clarity All Day

After being overseas for many years in hot sunny places I developed a real sensitivity to light and lived in sunglasses 24/7. They became more of a tool for me then just a pair of sunglasses. Without them you can't operate effectively and are a vital piece of gear. Stayed loyal to a certain brand for 12 years in a polycarbonate lense and they did the job well. Glasses 4 stars, customer service 1 star.

I really liked these for the first year. Then the rubber on the legs started coming off. I tried glueing them back with several different adhesives. None of them held more than a week. I requested warranty, nope. I even tried “buying” new legs but they won’t sell them to me. I think I have figured out a solution I used some electrical shrink tubing. It is working so far. Customer service screwed the pooch on this. I will be going back to Maui Jim or I might try Oakley.

Good to great fishing sunglasses

I use these for fishing, mostly fly fishing. I like the glass for durability. I think Costas run a little small, the XL frame on the Reeftons fits my normal male head well. The mirrored lenses mean these things let noticeably less light through than, say, Smith's chromapop lenses. This is good and bad. I think it helps with spotting fish in most circumstances because it ups the contrast and seems more effective at removing glare. At the same time, they quickly become too dark in heavy overcast or at dawn or dusk.

Great frames, TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE

Frames are awesome! Lens are awesome, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! Long time Costa customer here, gonna move my business elsewhere after this purchase. I ordered these with Rx lenses, got an email the next day that they were ready. A week and a half later I tried to call, you can’t talk to anyone there now, only chat. Agent disconnected twice for no reason. Finally got to talk about it and they told me that my order had been ready for 10 days and they didn’t know why it hadn’t shipped. I did pay extra for expedited shipping, they offered to give me 20% off if I wanted to buy another pair but couldn’t offer anything on this purchase. Costa was a great brand until they were bought by Luxxottica. Now they’re just another “brand”. Very sad for such a great company with ... MoreFrames are awesome! Needs an adjustable nose piece

The lens are second to none and they are comfortable. At the end of the day though I will be selling the pair I purchased. These really need an adjustable nose piece. They sit up high on my face so maybe my nose is too broad but most people I see wearing these something just looks off. I ended up buying a pair of Hurley sunglasses for about 30% of the price as these. The lens aren't as good as these but they are good enough and fit my face alot better.

Reefton Sunglasses

Comfortable on my face and full cover for my eyes. This is my 3rd pair - I am pretty hard on sunglasses. Feels like they are using a cheaper plastic though now and I'm worried when I put them up on my hat. They feel stiff and breakable. But as far as comfort and style, they are awesome.

Such great fit and color!

I lost my regular pair of the reefton series in the ocean, and the second I did I knew I had no ither choice but to get a new pair. Once you are use to the color and quality of Costa sunglasses then you know it’s hard to go back to cheaper. I tried these Pros on and was instantly in love. Have had them a couple days and even though I dropped more money on these, I am kind if glad that I was able to upgrade to such a great pair. Thank you Costa! Also want to add that the God of heaven came down in human form was named Jesus Christ. He died for the sins of the world, was buried and resurrected from the dead on the third day. Believe this and he will save your soul! Jesus still saves!!

Very comfortable!

1st the bad - Non of the frame selections for Reefton's come in a gloss finish, only matte. The matte finish makes the glasses look cheap, which they are not, especially on the Tortoise style. Their Standard glossy Tortoise is majorly better looking than the Retro Tortoise. The Green Mirror 580G doesn't look anything like the product images they have on their site. Not even close. It's more of a blue to green mixture swishy mixture. Not nearly as attractive as the Blue Mirror 580G's.2nd the good - Exceptionally comfortable thanks to the double hinged frames on my wide noggin. I got the Green Mirror Glass on this pair because I have the blue Mirror glass on my Corbina's and unless it's blazingly bright out it's harder so see things with the Blue. Like the control screen in my truck as an example. It's not the polarization doing this just straight up light transmission. The Green 580G's are much better in lower light situations. Same goes for fishing at dusk. Way harder to see everything with the Blue 580G. But the Green 580G is perfect in those conditions.

Very unhappy costumer

Came broken and the costumer service is horrible. They say if it’s within 30 days to contact costa. I did that and then costa is now saying I have to do a warranty claim which is talking forever. Highly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend costa anymore they use to be good but their quality has gone way downhill and their costumer service is awful. We bought a pair off costa website that came broken in the box the ear piece wasn’t even connected. We also bought a pair off Amazon and they came with a chip in the glass by the nose piece on the left lens. Not impressed one bit. We’ve bought costa in past and they were good but idk what you’ve changed but your quality is definitely not the same. Very dissatisfied costumer
