Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel 30

This is the Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta daily peels - a two step system that helps with many skin issues. The small size, which has 5 treatments is $17.00. When starting out, you should really limit use to 2-3 times a week. Not daily. You apply step 1, then wait two minutes and apply step 2. Step one solution pad has 7 different AHA/BHA’s that can help with radiance, pores, smooth lines, help soften wrinkles, and help treat acne. The second step pad neutralizes acid activity, hydrates, and applies some anti aging ingredients. I have sensitive skin and this didn’t cause me any issues- I used it 3 times a week. I follow up with a moisturizer

Okay so I am not going to lie, I was really scared to try these. I had a chemical peel in 2016 that caused serious PIH which I believe triggered melasma and needless to say, I was scared of trying anything with the word “peel.” I had tried lasers which helped initially and then didn’t. I decided to start up my skincare regimen again which entails numerous tyrosine inhibitors and even though it is common knowledge that you need to somewhat “exfoliate” to allow for better penetration of topicals, I thought this would destroy my face with everything else I was using. My only regret is that I didn’t try these sooner- I wish I had photos to show you but I was so horrified by how bad my skin had gotten (pigmentation and texture) that I avoided pictures. My only regret is that I didn’t try these sooner- I wish I had photos to show you but I was so horrified by how bad my skin had gotten (pigmentation and texture) that I avoided pictures. To my surprise, this didn’t cause dryness or irritation (I also use tatcha dewy moisturizer and some oils), I felt softness in my skin after first use. After a couple of uses I really saw an improvement in skin texture and clarity of my skin. I use it in the evening and wait the time specified in instructions. I then layer the rest of my topicals which include azeleic acid, naturiums zinc, meladerm, and a hydroquinone/tret/steroid compound that I formulate myself. I wake up to soft, clear, healthy looking skin everyday. Despite using other powerful actives, My skin wouldn’t look the way it does without this product. My skin was rough, bumpy, my pores looked large- and this has literally transformed my skin (didn’t even notice the lasers helped like this). I use them almost every day. Some days I skip a day, rarely do I ever skip 2 days. I can see the buildup of oil around my nose and crease in chin when I don’t use these. Seriously, life changing!!!

This is an amazing product! It is a two step treatment that is applied with two pads soaked with product. The first pad contains acids that exfoliate the skin, providing users with a daily facial peel. This step reduces breakouts, blackheads and it minimizes pores. The second pad contains anti-aging ingredients that reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as correcting hyperpigmentation. I have very dry and sensitive skin, so I was worried that this product would irritate and dry out my skin. This treatment does cause dryness, but I have been able to counteract it with a rich moisturizer. I recommend using it every other day, biweekly or weekly if you have sensitive skin. It has significantly reduced blackheads and tightened my pores. I haven’t noticed an improvement in hyperpigmentation, but I haven’t been using this product for very long. The anti-aging benefits are also visible. My skin looks brighter and more perfected. This product is expensive, but the results are undeniable. I highly recommend this product.

Broke out my skin

I bought the pore perfecting at home kit, which included the 30-day pack of daily peels, pore perfecting serum and clenser. After the whole 30 days, my skin has gone from decently looking with my biggest concern being large pores and blackheads on my nose, to fully covered in red spots and painful pimples/whiteheads everywhere. After the first week, my skin was amazing, smooth and soft and I could see the pores becoming smaller. Then, after about 10 days I started breaking out on my forehead, chin and jaw. It was bad to the point of preferring to stay in ratehr going out to avoid people seeing it. 2/3 weeks in, I could see it starting to clear again and the pimples were slowly starting to go away, and I was considering buying again. But then, a few days before the end of the pack, my whole face started to get covered in painful bumps, whiteheads and rashes, much worse than before. Now I'm left with really bad, rough skin, and I dont know how to clear it. It definitely worsened my overall complexion, and for the price of the pack, I was hoping for at least no improvement at all rather than this horror show I'm left with. Very disappointed

Great at-home treatment for combination skin

This peel was recommended to me by an esthetician a few years ago. I used it then, but later moved on to other products. I returned to it this year and am glad I did. It helps with uneven skin tone and tightens large pores. I use the peel in combination with Dr. Gross pore-refining serum and both products work really well on my skin. I would recommend this peel to anyone with combination to oily skin, with large pores, and dark spots. The peel does work well when used daily, or every other day. The difference is noticeable.

Just buy this

Start using these peels and never look back. You won't believe you ever used a physical/scrub peel, or any other glycolic acid peel from other brands. This is the god of glycolic acid peels. It has the most delicate and effective balance of active and delivery system, surrounded by bunch of other nourishing ingredients. The second step is what really sets it apart from other acid peels, as you can neutralize the acid with a hydrating hyaluronic acid mixture. Ive used daily and once a week or once every other day– they all work great. Do what suits you best, just make sure you try this!

Not sure

I used this product several times once a week. I don't expect much from the effect of this acid peeling, as it is quite clear what acids do to the skin. So I'm basing this review only on my personal impressions, and it is highly subjective. The positive thing about this peeling is that it is convenient to use. Everything is at hand, there are no extra bottles occupying half of the bathroom. It has nice smell. I have sensitive skin, so it definitely burns a bit (which is normal), but it is tolerable. The skin is smooth and nice after using it (just like after any other good acid peeling). The reason why I not sure whether I would rebuy it or not is the pads, which are used to apply the product. They are just not pleasant. I prefer applying products using fingertips, as it causes minimum irritation to my skin. The wipes are quite hard, and too small to hold them in the hand. I guess that they have additional mechanical peeling effect, like Korean pads, for example. The product itself is good, it's that I don't enjoy using it.I really recommend using it if you can tolerate the feeling of the wipe on your skin.

Skin essential

This is a must-use product for me. I discontinued it years ago, because then, it was cost-prohibitive for me, as I was using it daily. I got a sample recently & got hooked again, realized I really can't be without it this time. Still costly, but I now use it 3 times a week at the most, so it should last longer this time for cost savings. It clears up, brightens, and gives my skin that glassy skin clarity & glow. Everyone must at least try it & be consistent. Don't be discouraged if it causes a few breakouts initially, because that is an indication that the product works! Trust that it will pay off with constant, consistent use.

TRY IT AND YOU WILL GET HOOKED!

I discovered this item by mistake, I was reading reviews on a peel from another brand Philosophy I believe when a person reviewing that one said it was just ok Dennis Gross peels are far superior. I had to google it because I had never heard of this brand before. Long story short I bought a 5 pack and used them for 5 days in a row. I seen my mom after day two and the first thing she said was wow, your complexion is nice. Are you using a different powder or something? I said nope, just got these new peel pads. I am hooked! Best face treatment I have ever tried. They are pricy. I decided now I cant live without them so I buy the 30 day and to extend my experience use 1 every other evening.

The softest, smoothest skin in days

This stuff works amazingly well. I have to admit I know less than nothing about skincare products and what vitamins and ingredients do what exactly. I was looking for something to help me even out my skin tone and get rid of these horrible sun tan lines all across my face that happened when I stayed out in the sun way too long one day and was wearing sunglasses (and no sunscreen total fail ). I came upon this and saw the word peel and the amazing 5-star reviews and decided to try it. I discovered this doesnt actually make your skin peel at all but it still somehow magically worked to even out my skin tone in a matter of days (like two)! And then I also realized that it has the added bonus of leaving you with the softest and smoothest skin of all time! So Im a ... MoreThis stuff works amazingly well.
