Dr Dennis Gross - Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Overnight Serum

I received this complimentary from Dr. Dennis Gross and I love this serum! My eyes got a lift! This is advanced Retinol plus Ferulic acid and that's why it is so great. I put it above my eyes and below. It's non-irritating to my eyes and I love that about it! I found it was easy to apply around my eyes and it soaked in really good. It feels like it is cooling my eyes making them more relaxed and less puffy. I also used this on my eye lids and my eyes seem wider awake now. I used this only in the evening an hour or two before bedtime. The big difference I see is in the Eleven lines because I squint my eyes at the computer, and I was getting a faint line but now it's gone, and the heavy lids are gone too!

The product DID NOT COME in a manufacturer’s box. It was just wrapped in plastic, as if it had been used. I have purchased this item many time from different sources and never had this problem. When I called to complain I was told I would get a response back within 48 hrs. It has now been a week. For the price I paid this it totally unacceptable. I don’t suggest buying this product from Walmart. I would give it zero stars if I could. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I have problem skin and have dropped quite a few dollars on finding something that helps my texture. Dr. Gross ferulic acid serum and the overnight wrinkle treatment make a clear and obvious improvement in my skin! No they don’t give me baby skin but my make up goes on smoother and skin appears less textured than usual. Another bonus is I can use it every single day and never get sensitivity or irritation like I do from other products. It doesn’t pill under makeup and works with my primers too. Yay! Only con is Ferulic Acid smells like hot dog water hah! But the smell goes away after a few minutes.

These ingredients should help lift the skin, and even out your skin while you're asleep. This is vegan and crueltyfree which I really love about this company. This is for PM use. Good product but will not repurchase! :(

I used this product a few years ago when I had a bad acne breakout and at the time it did wonders and cleared my skin and got rid of acne marks. I was honestly blown away but I couldn't justify the price so since then I had just been trying out other brands of retinol (the ordinary, paula's choice) and took a break from retinol for a while. Just recently I purchased this product again because I had another really bad breakout in the fall, but this time I didn't see any significant effects even after using the entire bottle. I was using it every night daily too. I then bought paula's choice clinical retinol 1% and that actually worked for me and my skin has now cleared up completely. It didn't cause me to peel like other retinols, and absorbed well. not a fan of the packaging as there was a good visible chunk of product stuck inside that wouldn't pump up. I personally won't be repurchasing as it just doesn't work for me anymore :)

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. It's too early to tell the effectiveness however so far it's going well. It is beautiful to apply. The directions recommend 2-3 pumps however I only need 1 for the face, a tiny dot for the undereyes and lids (not in the directions, but I choose to and I don't experience any irritation), and a fraction of a pump for the neck. This serum is thick and paste-like but it absorbs fairly rapidly so you need to work it around the face reasonably quickly. However it feels moisturising and leaves my skin luxuriously soft. After a minute, I apply its sister moisturiser, and my skin almost feels lifted, in a pleasant way. This is my 2nd or 3rd bottle of Dr Gross' Ferulic + Retinol night serum & it is by far my #1. After I clean, I rub in 3 pumps over my face & chest. As a cancer survivor, I used to get dark patches on my face that my dermatologist could not remove. I had places that were scaly, some oily & my skin just looked tired. With the quarantine, I focused on my skin & what options I had. This goes on so smooth & it feels Good and smells clean. It disappears into the skin & even glows a little. A few weeks ago I splurged on Dr Dennis Gross overnight serum (my sweet love where have you been all my life), the triple corrective eye serum (a deeper kind of love) , c+collagen deep cream (disappointed) and the universal daily peel (ready to go extra strength) I have left a more detailed review of each on those specific products and to be honest its a little hard to review one without the other in terms of results just because I have had an overall 'praise be' type of outcome and yet not sure if it can be attributed to the overnight serum aloe or the eye serum and the bits in between all teaming up to do some fine work. It's not too greasy and a little goes a long way and sinks in beautifully before my night cream. Despite being of a certain age my skin looks gloomy, dewy, plump and buffed ... I'm certainly still not drinking enough water but honestly (and you won't get someone more self loathing than me) I love my skin right now - the lines around my eyes are without a doubt reduced in appearance..did they reduce or do they just appear that way and does it matter? I don't look like I've been pumped full of filler, just a smoother and wide awake look to my skin and eyes and a more even skin tone - is that even meant to be a result of using this? Look to be honest I don't care if it doesn't work...some miracle has occurred after the purchase of all these items and the subsequent application of them and I'm a superstitious kind of girl so I will keep using them till I stop loving the results. The only retinol that has worked for me.

This is the only retinol product that has ever worked for me. I have fair, sensitive skin, and it’s moderately thin and combo-oily. I get hormonal acne on the sides of my chin all the time and my pores are very easily clogged and then enlarged. Usually any retinol or prescription retinoids would make me feel like my skin had been ripped off, and I would have a lot of really conspicuous flaking and severe redness and inflammation. I was never able to use them long enough to get any results and I thought they just weren’t for me at all.So now I’m 33 and I saw this recommended on the DDG website as one of the products for oily skin and decided to try it based on the ingredients. I use this after cleaning with the alpha beta cleanser and i use the alpha beta extra strength peel pads. I apply the ferulic and retinol eye serum that i bought at the same time (and loveee that!) and then this, followed by the alpha beta moisturizer. My skin has never looked better since I was 12. I have been using this serum for a month, every night. In the day i use the alpha beta serum.My pores have cleaned out and shrunk in a very noticeable way over time. The texture on my skin has disappeared so I can wear highlighter and not have perfectionist anxiety. My face is definitely firmer and looks lifted and more rested. And the BEST PART- the nasolabial creases that made me feel so self conscious for the last couple years, have essentially disappeared!! Those did a serious number on my self esteem, and now they’re gone! I don’t know how long that took, because somehow I didn’t really notice until I read other reviews where someone mentioned that and I had to go check.
