e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow Liquid Filter 3.5 Medium

I was influenced to buy this ELF Halo glow liquid filter Glow Booster. Reviews said that it was a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury glow wand. After purchasing this product, I don't think it is a dupe. I purchased the lightest shade and it is way too dark for my cool tone pale skin. This is supposed to work on cool tones, but this is definitely a warm tone. This looks straight up orange on my face. I make it work by using an extremely light foundation on top it does give my skin a nice glow. But I can't use it with my foundation that I normally wear because it will make me look like a bronzed mud pie. I hate the packaging. The big applicator makes a horrible squishing noise every time you dip into the product. This would be a good choice if you have a darker skin tone and you don't mind cleaning up the bottle every time you use it.

I've been interested in trying this since it came out, and ended up picking one up during a great sale. I was so torn between 0 fair and 2 light/medium, both with warmer undertones. There were more reviews and helpful data on the original 2 light, but I'm so glad I went with 0 Fair. Just for reference, I use the Elf Camo CC cream in 140W Fair for some light coverage, and it can read a touch too light on my skin, which I fix by mixing or using bronzer etc. Yet concealer/foundation in a light vanilla can be too dark or only work when i'm tan in summer. Whereas the Elf Camo Powder Foundation in 140W matches great, sheesh. So, I decided to lean lighter since I'd likely use this as a highlighter if it was too glowy, thus I chose 0 fair. It's great though, not too light, a great match enhanced by it's sheer coverage. I love the 'glow' which for me in these lower light winter days looks like a subtle ethereal silvery-gold micro dust or something. Its quite pretty on the highpoints of face, but looks lovely all over as well. I thought it would be too shimmery or something, and some reviews said it's a lot, but in my environment, it's definitely not, Yet it gives me a little lift because I feel slightly photo shopped, haha. In addition, I use this as part of the base or concealer layer, and so other products on top continue to make the glow more modest. Depending on how I handle this in my makeup routine, it can crease as many products do on my combo/acne/sensitive/rosacea skin, but with tricks like skincare, then korean spf, then green centella primer, then powder, then setting spray, then concealer or foundation or halo glow on top of that nicely prepped skin, it wont. Something i've learned- give products a fair shake by experimenting and researching new ideas that are so readily available these days with youtube etc. I've learned a lot that really made a big difference, and turned makeup that I was ready to toss into something I quite like. I didn't need to try that hard with this; however. Halo glow for the win! Oh yeah and the bottle and feel of the product feels deluxe for a budget item, oh yeah.

Glowy, Natural Looking Finish!

I use this either underneath foundation, or even on its own. It helps to give a beautiful glowy/dewy finish without feeling too sticky or greasy. I do set it down a bit with powder if I am also using foundation, but even without that I haven't had any issues with it making me greasy or going patchy throughout the day. For a more dewy finish I've also found it relatively long wearing. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a more radiant finish look (regardless of skin type - I think it could work for any) or a lighter/more natural look on its own. I like the packaging and I like the jumbo doe foot applicator. sometimes I jump the gun and write reviews too quickly saying I love something. this I wore 3 times before reviewing. I really love it, it blends out nicely with the dense brush I use (I think a sponge would soak up too much of this), its very light feeling. my cons are, it went on the perfect shade then oxidized. I would go one shade lighter than you think. im hoping as I get tan this summer, it will match better. Lightweight, glowy, natural! Love!

I have been hearing nothing but great things about this product so I decided to give it a try. I bought shade number 2. It was slightly too dark for me so I mixed a little bit of concealer with it and it matched perfectly. Shade 1 would have been far too light for me. This honestly works out well since we're going into summertime when I get darker anyway. It is very lightweight and provides a very radiant, glowy finish. It is by no means a full coverage foundation which I actually appreciate. It's much more of a light to medium coverage. I'm also using the Halo Glow contour, blush and highlight wands. I have had this product in my wishlist for so long and it took me forever to pull the trigger on buying it for several different reasons. Many of those reasons include the fact that I am not really into wearing foundation and when I do I wear powder foundation. The main reason I did not want to buy it was because I was not comfortable with being able to match my shade without seeing it in person. I also have some texture in my skin and it is dry. My most used liquid (skin coloured) highlighter

I usually avoid hyped up products. But I've been a fan of this product every since I managed to get my hands on it. I know own this in multiple shades:2 (way to light), 3,5 (new olive neutral shade which is closest to my complexion), 4 (to peachy and slightly to dark),5 (for an overal summery glow/subtle bronze underneath a foundation that might be a hint to light) and 6 (I use this as a beautiful glowy bronzer). Iuse to 3.5 en 6 everytime I do my make-up because I have very dry skin and this gives the illusion that I'm glowing from within (mix it in your foundation or skintint or use underneath for a subtle glow). This is not heavy or cakey and does not settle into my pores though the day which is hard to find for me. As I've gotten older I've given up on traditional foundation because it always made me look older than good skincare and tinted sunscreen or tinted moisturizer over sunscreen. Adding a couple of spots of this 20 minutes after my sunscreen has dried down adds a lit from within glow. It makes me look a bit healthier, dewier, my skin a little plumper. I have even worn this directly on top of plain untinted sunscreen and it still is very nice. If you dont have any major blemishes and are just looking to even out skintone a bit, brighten things up? This will make you smile every time you use it. Don’t get me wrong my lines haven’t disappeared however my skin for the first time in several years has a dewy glow and most importantly I didn’t break out!!! I just ordered the youth serum w/ retinol. I’ll give that a review after a few weeks. On another note I got a few lip liners, the plumping pout pens and satin lipstick. I couldn’t be more pleased. They are better than my Kylie & Mac lip kits 😝 Creamy lip liner ( easy to sharpen) soft ,creamy , glossy lips 👄 I literally went to Walmart and bought 3 of the pinky put since they are sold out on the app and Ulta. Works Amazingly on My Acne-Prone Skin

I was finally able to get my hands on this amazing product that has been going viral from sometime now. However, I was unaware of the high amounts of bad reviews for causing horrible, and some say cystic, breakouts. I was obviously a bit worried to try it as someone who is extremely prone to breakouts from makeup, and sensitive skin. After trying this product for a while now, I have not found that this product alone has caused any irration or breakouts to me (yay!). I want to note that I don't use the product as foundation and instead mix it into my matte foundation(since I like a matte finish) on a makeup palette. So I never ever use the wand on my face in which I believe, is causing everyone to breakout from this product.
