Not as fabulous as the 'old' ones, which are now SOOOO expensive, but these seem to be doing the trick. A bit early to be sure!

Brilliant

We live in an area where a LOT of clothes moths fly get into the house. This is the only brand of trap that has ever worked for me. We set a few up all over the house and by the end of a few months, each trap is full of moths.

Great pheremone trap

I worked with museum textile collections for several decades, so when I noticed a few small clothes moths in my home, I went and purchased sticky traps to find out where the moths were breeding as it wasn't obvious after I looked in every place that seemed likely. Sometimes it can take a few weeks for moths to appear on the traps depending on when in the life cycle of the moth infestation that you first put a trap out. Within a few weeks, the traps had dozens of moths on them and I was able to find where the moths were breeding. I then inspected and froze and/or washed every textile item in my wardrobes, and thoroughly vaccummed and wiped down all surfaces (including inspecting the holes for the shelf adjustment where moths love to hide and breed). Sadly when I went back to Bunnings today to get more traps so I could monitor if my efforts had worked (it can take several breeding cycles to eliminate clothes moths), there were no domestic or professional traps in stock. The warm and wet weather has created an ideal environment so clealry many people are dealing with clothes moths at this time. I like these traps because they have no odour.

I have found these traps to not be effective.

I bought two packets of these in late January. And after placing them in rooms of the house where small (clothes) moths, fly around at night when the lights are on. Not one of these clothes moths traps has resulted in any such moths being trapped. I have since bought some small lavender filled sachets on eBay from an interstate lavender grower to try and deter the moths.

Does exactly what it claims: attracts clothes moths and traps them on a sticky surface. I was shocked at how many moths were trapped. It explains why I had so many holes in my wooden jumpers in the past
