Great price! Quality is great! Haven't had a chance to use it properly yet, but so far, very comfortable to use.

Best balance all round professional hammer far better than titanium hammer which are overpriced and over rated. last for years and the proof is they have been around forever and the old ones still been used 40 years on today.Ewan

I own 4 Estwings, first one I bought and still own has been in my tool box 20+ years ,putting an addition on my home. It's a studio for my wife. Have a few buddies coming over to frame it up and the 3 of them always grab my estwings and leave me to use one of their B grade hammers...not this weekend!

This is the best framing hammer on the market in my opinion. I used the 28 oz smooth face for two years building roof trusses and the vibration control is excellent. Held up to setting a LOT of jigs by setting nails and truss plates. Dropped on concrete, thrown across assembly tables and it held up. I had the 22 oz a couple years before I bought the 28 when I built trusses at another manufacturer for a year and it was great quality as well, the 28 oz just makes any framing or carpentry work easier with the added weight.
My new Estwing hammer is superb I bought a titanium hammer and it splintered hitting 8" nails and returned it ! Now hitting the 8" nails in with no marks on the Estwing! Highly recommended
I ordered online, I don't know if I could have gotten it in the store if it were in stock without being scratched up. I would like a new tool to be non scratched especially if it's a gift. I know it may get scratched in use but not satisfied with the looks. This was the second one I got. It is a nice hammer otherwise.
I purchased this hammer as well as some other tools to go assist a partner of mine guy his house that was destroyed in the recent flooding that occurred here in Oklahoma. The hammer performed flawlessly! Perfect balance and weight compliments the solid structure of this tool. Buy one, it’s worth every penny spent.
It's been quite a while since I've needed a good hammer. When she was in my hand she trully felt like my original one.Perfectly balanced, and strikes true. Not a better hammer out there as far as I'm concerned.Solid steel!Completely reliable...And will be, until this one gets passed on.
Bought the 28 oz hammer for its weight to drive nails into 70 year old oak framing. Been using a 20 oz fiberglass handle Vaughan hammer for 30 years on general construction and fencing but needed a little more weight and the Eswing was the only option. While it drives nails into the old oak it rings with a high pitch resonance as it passes your ear. Most annoying but fortunately I do not need to use it that often. Also the checkered face is too aggressive and needed to be sanded down a little just like the Vaughan. Even after sanding it you can still drive crooked nails.
I needed a hammer just like my old one which weighed 28 oz. so I bought this one, but it is way heavier, as the listed weight is just the weight of the head and not the entire hammer. Description should list the whole product weight.
