BETTER THAN ANY LUXURY BRAND

Firstly, I did not fet paid to write this. i just love helping others with any and everything, including products. And when i truly believe in a product, youd think I was that brand's saleswoman of the year!I have been using this night lotion for over a year now. I moved from damp Oregon to dry Arizona, so I started trying brands like La Mer, and similar products. But one day I decided to give this one a go since I am forty and still get breakouts yet also have small wrinkles. The moment I tried this, it became my go-to lotion day and night. recently CerVe came out with two new daytime lotions with SPF so I am giving those a try since their normal one smelled too much like sunscreen. And so far, I am not disappointed in the least. Formulation change ushered in zits

The formulation has changed and not in a good way.I still had a little bit in an older bottle of PM moisturizer and compared the new product after noticing something was off. This new product is thicker, has more of a hand lotion feel, and the scent is definitely different (more like a hand lotion also). I successfully avoided massive under the skin zits for years in part to switching my day and nighttime moisturizers (CeraVe PM was recommended by my dermatologist before the pandemic). After using this product for a week and a half I have had two of those specific types of zits in different areas of my face.This product was purchased from the CeraVe store on Amazon. Horrible reaction to this moisturizer!!

If I could give this zero stars I would! I bought this AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion because I ran out of my normal facial lotion during a business trip and had heard good things about CeraVe. I was so mistaken. Upon first application on my face the following day, it stung a little around my eyes but I just thought it was from lack of sleep due to traveling. I used it again the following day and the same stinging happened but was a bit worse and was just around my eyes so I thought maybe I developed an issue with my L'Oreal eye moisturizer I have been using for a year. So I tried the CeraVe again the third day, this time my whole face stung and I knew it was that moisturizer. That evening, my right eyebrow and eyelid area swelled up and the skin around both eyes felt raw. The 2nd day after last use, my right eye was swollen even more and the skin around my eyes and mouth felt raw, itchy and stung badly. My eyes also watered a lot and made the skin sting and irritated even more. The 3rd day after not using CeraVe, I woke up with both eyes swollen shut an my eye area and around my mouth felt rough and scabby, itchy and was very red. The fourth day my eyes are still itchy, puffy and swollen, very red and the scabby skin is still scabby and starting to flake a little like I got a chemical burn. I have taken a antihistamine each day since I stopped used the lotion and it has helped some but I am still experiencing the swelling, itchiness and red scabby raw skin. I cannot go to work looking like I went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson! If you use this product, do a test on a small patch of your skin for a couple days first!! I would like my money back on this product but I bought it while traveling and I am now home.

New night fav

I am combing both my review for the AM& PM to give others a comparison. I was searching for an alternative night time facial moisturizer at an economical price. This product did not disappoint. It’s lightweight, moisturizing but doesn’t leave your face feeling greasy. Bonus that it contains hyaluronic and niacin-amide which is essential for my oily skin. I would definitely buy again. I got the AM because why not since I was buying the PM. This AM lotion did not work for me. It’s thicker than the PM and doesn’t absorb well into my skin. I also believe it is the culprit of my breakout as the added sunscreen contains Zinc and it’s an accelerant to my sensitive skin/breakout. I will discontinue use.

Subtle difference at first but overtime, it WORKS

I have super dry skin. I struggle with eczema. This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist. When I first tried it, I wasn't super impressed. I didn't notice a huge difference overnight and planned on changing to a different moisturizer when it ran out. It ran out after a few months (it lasts a long time) and I noticed within a few weeks my skin was incredibly red and irritated. I went out a bought a bottle of this again and within a week, my skin was back to feeling and looking much better. I pair this with the CeraVe under-eye moisturizer and a seal it with a Shiseido oil. My skin still needs a little something else because it still feels dry but so far, this is the best combo I can come up with. Unusual reactions: itch and burning sensations

I love the Cerave products I use (moisturizer, gentle face wash, and night time face cream). I bought this day time face cream 2 weeks ago for the first time, as I wanted something with light sun protection. I am writing this review as I quickly experienced an itch and then (more worryingly) a prolonged burning sensation upon daily application (i noticed this about 3 days into the use of this product). I also noticed these reactions worsening significantly with mild sun exposure or when exposed to heat (blow dryer, for example). My skin also became noticeably dry and tight. I haven’t changed anything else about my skin care and when I stopped using this cream the reactions stopped immediately.This has never happened before with any of their products. Used to be great

I’ve been using this for years and it WAS a great moisturizer. I like that it’s fragrance free.However, the newer ones I bought are awful… they’re different & cheaper. The new bottle looks similar, but it’s clearly way cheaper plastic and the pump doesn’t work. The moisturizer itself feels a lot different; it’s thicker, feels somewhat sticky and dries in a way that makes skin feel tight (not in a good way). It’s also irritated my skin SO much. It stings when I put it on, turns my face red, and is drying out my skin and causing it to peel. The complete opposite of what this moisturizer is supposed to do. It’s so disappointing that they ruined a good product/packaging.

horrible, gave me a rash
