Brought in the Brisbane floods, my first dryer purchase in approx 25years but after going back into the office full time after Covid things have changed and dryers have improved!! I love it doesn’t over dry, senses how wet clothes are and stops when dry. Quick and easy to set up and can be set up on the bench or hang off the wall. Great size for 2 adults and great price point.

We bought the Fisher and Paykel 4.5 KG dryer to replace a 20 year old Simpson dryer. We needed to invert the dryer to be able to use a duct kit to take the hot air out of the laundry, but the LED time display remained upside down. Despite that minor inconvenience, the dryer works brilliantly and it removes lots of cat hair from our clothes which the old one didn't. The lint filter works extremely well and is very easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Really happy with this latest model of Fisher & paykel. My old dryer was brought 4 years ago and it was still the manual timer which I often not sure how long I should set it to dry so I would put it on Max 150 mins for heavy load. After I got the new dryer, it was life changing, the screen shows auto, then the sensor inside the machine with stop on its own once dried, more energy efficient and saving on power bill. It’s much quieter as well and less dust from the fabric. It’s a much improve d dryer we all love it!
I am very pleased with my new dryer. I only purchased this smaller model as I tend to only use it sparingly to finish off drying towels, sheets & jeans. I do like the filter which effectively catches the excess fibres & fluff from a set of new towels.
Bought this for two reasons - its smaller size to suit our laundry, and previous experience with Fisher & Paykel clothes dryer. So far so good, this is the second purchase of one of these this year - this one for mother-in-law. Only reasons for 4 stars are. limited control options, and the buttons need what seems too much pressure to operate after the inverted control panel facia is fitted.
This small dryer fits perfectly up on my laundry bench and works very well. I only need to use a dryer occasionally, so the lower energy efficiency of a vented dryer is not such a concern. The lint filter is easy to access and clean.
Very happy with this purchase. It's the perfect size for my wash loads. I replaced a 15 year old very basic dryer with this dryer and used to hang synthetics and jersey clothing over a shower rail to dry overnight. Now almost everything goes into my new dryer and is dried perfectly.
Technology has advanced considerably since I last bought a dryer. Does a lovely job of delivering untangled and minimally creased items. Love the sensor features and the accessibility to the filter. No excuse for not cleaning it.
we had a much more complex F&P dryer in our last rental , in NSW, that was very good. Having moved to Qld we just needed a simpler dryer to "finish drying ". This one is hopeless - you can't run it for 10 mins. It just goes and goes until everything is dried to a crisp, even the delicate setting and the clothes need ironing to remove the creases. Not impressed and not up to the quality I would expect from Fisher and Paykel and we have had a few over the years - fridges and washing machines (top load and front load)
