My old dryer died after years of faithful service and it's winter, so there was definitely a need for a new one. After reviewing a number of different brands, sizes and models I chose the F&P 7kg option. It was a great choice. I have been using it for the past 4 weeks fairly consistently and generally choose the auto option. My clothes are dry without being crunchy dry, the machine is quiet and looks very sleek. There are plenty of cycle options for different fabrics and I love the reverse tumble so my sheets don't come out in a damp in the centre ball. The service level from appliances online is fabulous as always, fast, reliable and cost effective. Thanks again Appliances Online.

The dryer is the best one we have ever used. Dries without too much wrinkles. The variety of options are extremely handy. Only issue was one side was slightly dented while being delivered but It dosent impact the working so we couldnt be bothered to retrun it.

Hello. Mixed feelings here. The first dryer I received lasted less than a week before the tumbler came off its bearings. Not good. Your amazing Customer Service saved the day. It was replaced the next day and all staff involved were great. The new dryer works like a charm and I would gladly recommend it. So the final outcome is fantastic despite a speed bump along the way.

We have only had the older style vented dryers that make the clothes come out super hot to touch. I was amazed with the sensor function, that the clothes come out dry (like you have just taken it off the clothesline). We used the dryer rack function to dry school shoes that we had washed. It took 1 hr to completely dry. I rung AO before purchasing the dryer and asked about our laundry required new external venting to an outside wall with this dryer. The AO rep told me the installers that you can select when purchasing the dryer will give you a quote of this when they come out. You just need to 1:purchase the venting kit 2: pay them directly after in the dryer. This information was incorrect. They happily invert the dryer for you, but they do not do NEW external venting to an outside window. The venting kit you can buy with the dryer, only acts as a connector to existing venting already installed. Installation was great took about 20 minutes and didn’t leave any mess. The installers took the venting kit I had purchased with the dryer back with them. It was refunded within 3 days. Overall great dryer. I would definitely pay the extra features eg the sensor function to turn off when the clothes are dry. AO website was great, purchased the dryer on Sunday night. Had it installed on Tuesday.
Our new dryer arrived within a couple days and it works great. The delivery guy was friendly and he took our old dryer away, too. The controls are really easy to use and the instructions to wall mount the dryer were simple to follow. The only issue I had was that a pack of screws required for wall mounting were missing. However, I went to Bunnings and and got some myself as I didn't want to wait. To their credit, the Appliances Online team were willing to send screws out to me (but I am impatient!). Would definitely buy from Appliances Online again.
Purchased from Appliances Online almost 12 months ago. So far we have been very happy with the quality of the dryer and especially the installation team from Appliances Online. Being a vented dryer, it's a little noisier than other dryers in operation, but still better than the 5Kg Fisher & Paykel dryer it replaced. The auto dry sensing works perfectly and all laundry is dry & fresh when the cycle finishes. Recommended for large households.
Got this to replace a terrible washing machine from another brand. This has been a breath of fresh air. I love the pre settings and the choice of setting the temperature (high, med, low). I also like how I can set how dry it should be. Very happy with the purchase.
I just wanted a dryer for those days you can't put your clothes out or just put through to dry off the dampness. This is the perfect dryer. It switches off when it's ready ( incase you forget) . I originally bought a pump dryer, spent more money and found l just didn't have the time to sit around for 3hours waiting for the clothes to dry only to save money, especially when lm a working mum. And unless you can connect the dryer to your pipes saving time to drain your water, pump dryers are a waste of toyr time and money. Fisher and paykel vented gives you more options to adjust for your needs. Best decision to swap over.
We replaced an ancient dryer (that had finally perished) with this whizz-bangery. It is, um, er, okay. Noisier than its predecessor, shinier and with more knobs, buttons and attitude. It actually only dries things if you override the controls and set the heat to thermonuclear. On the 'automatic' settings you cannot tell how long the drying cycle will take or when it will end. It is not exactly bad, but it fills me with an ennui that represents everything that is 2021.
After much research and the difficult decision of Vented versus Heat ump Dryers, we are so glad we chose this clothes dryer. We have always had great products from Fisher and Paykel (washing machine, dishwasher) and this dryer is also excellent. We love the shoe rack, the fact it can be wall mounted, it's so quite when running and the number of cycle choices. There is nothing that we don't like and we certainly haven't had any problems. This was a great decision!
