Display is hard to see, even when adjusting brightness. Can’t see date very well. Extremely difficult to read anything outside. I had to cover the display with my hand just so the numbers would be visible. Difficult to track workouts. I kept thinking I was tracking my workout after I pressed play, but at the end nothing would be recorded. I prefer the Charge 2.

I love this tracker, it has a few useful tools; like weather, timers and agenda. It can track your sleep, it has lots of exercise modes, it can set alarms, it has Fitbit Wallet (Which is like Apple/Google Pay I think), one of my favorite features is that I can read all of my notifications, and in some cases, respond to some of them with the watch! The Fitbit Charge 3 has great battery life lasting me an estimated 5-6 days per full charging of battery. It can track your HR. (heart rate) And that pretty much wraps it up for this cool little fitness tracker! *some smaller features include changing the clock style, sleep mode, and DND (Do not disturb). This watch is water resistant, and swimming is included in exercise modes.

This was a great wearable for fitness tracking. Sleek, tracked things well. Connects with other training apps I have. Then the watch suddenly stopped working after 6 months. The batter would drain from 100% to 0 in 5 min and there was no update to fix the issue. And I noticed it was an issue for many others. If it wasn't for that, I'd give it 5 stars because it eas exactly what I wanted.

The Fitbit Charge 3 has been a fitness companion that exceeded my expectations. Its accurate heart rate tracking, sleep analysis, and various exercise modes provide comprehensive health insights. The sleek design and customizable watch faces add a touch of personalization, while the swim-proof feature adds versatility. Despite lacking built-in GPS, the long battery life and smartphone notifications make it a practical and reliable fitness tracker at an affordable price point. The screen size is at times small and cumbersome making interacting with the Fitbit hard at times.
Ok so first of all, I have been a Fitbit user since the Zip which you wore on your pants and moved up to Charge, Charge Hr, 2, 3, etc. The Charge 3 fits and feels amazing on your wrist. Fitbit really made this watch very comfortable as opposed to the Charge 2. The overall design is amazing and the screen is fairly easy to read. It is a touch screen, so I definitely love that and the Charge 3 being waterproof was an amazing touch as well. Some things to note prior to buying: The Charge 3 comes with both large and small bands in one box (so no need to tell them what size you are), there are only 5 yes FIVE clock faces at this point and NONE of them have the date (Fitbit said they will add those in software updates). Upon first opening the package, it has a very large update that takes roughly 30 minutes to complete (probably needed since many users had problems from the beginning), and finally, there is NO button on the side of the watch. In order to make it waterproof, they had to eliminate the button, but there is a little indentation on the side of the watch where the button used to be that responds when you touch it and provides haptic (vibration) feedback. All of those things aside, I can say that I have had NO trouble with my watch, in fact my wife and I both purchased one and absolutely LOVE them. If you can be patient and wait on future software releases like they did for the Versa and Ionic, I'm sure that they will add a lot more clock faces and other features that users are looking for. The watch itself is 20% lighter than the Charge 2, and you don't have that annoying O2 sensor digging in your arm, plus it's waterproof to 50 meters so for me these were all huge improvements. I hope this review helps.
This tracker would be decent if I could actually see the screen. I lost my Charge 2 which worked much better than this one purchased at least two years later! Considered purchasing a new one until my research uncovered the fact that Google’s acquisition of the company had led to REMOVING several features I guess in an effort to push customers to their Pixel Watch.Way to go, Google! You have made any remaining items subpar to the competition. I won’t buy the Pixel Watch because I don’t like the Android interface. You’ve given me no other choice than to have to purchase an Apple Watch after being a Fitbit customer for nearly 20 years. Fitbit is not a great product. Randomly my steps show up as the same number of steps for multiple days. Then it will reset back to the correct number of steps. The face randomly changes to the DND/Sleep mode which makes it difficult to read. The bands break way too easily. It is a cheaper option than an Apple or Google watch, but it definitely could use some improvements.
I've had this for just over a year, and it's OK at best.Good points - it looks attractive, and I like that you can change the straps easily. It works well as a basic fitness tracker to give you an idea of how you're doing all day, i.e. tracking your steps, telling the time, calorie estimate, etc.Bad points - the minute you want to do anything more with it than the basics, it's just not very good. Connected GPS for running is woeful and the swimming length tracker is a guestimate at best and has been miles out at times. (Also, note that it only tracks time, not lengths while you're actually swimming, which is not that helpful.) Fitbit support is dire, and I'm sure is designed to be so unhelpful you give up. Software is notoriously buggy and syncing is slow. Lift wrist to look at the time during the day and there's roughly a 50/50 chance it will appear, but turn over in bed with the screen wake turned off and it will cheerfully blaze a beam of light right into your face. I could go on...In other words, I wouldn't recommend unless all you want is a nice looking watch/pedometer combo (of which there are probably far cheaper options), and then supplementing that for any sort of swimming or running etc with something much better.Unfortunately, having bought it at John Lewis for their usually excellent service, there's a gap in the chain as it is technically not broken, so not eligible for a refund. John Lewis technical support apparently need Fitbit to agree to it being returned for not working as advertised, and as I said, Fitbit support is one of the least helpful things I have ever encountered and is unsurprisingly not keen on agreeing that their product isn't working as directed. So, buyer beware - unfortunately from buying it at John Lewis too, as they seem to be hobbled by Fitbit's terrible service.
I bought the rose gold version and loved it. It was my first activity tracker and I had been sceptical about the benefits of having one. How wrong I was, it prodded me into activity and I monitored and increased substantially the exercise I undertook. I also liked the appearance and thought it could easily be worn as a wristwatch without too obviously being an activity tracker, The fact it was waterproof and could monitor swimming activity was a material factor in choosing this over the Charge 2. The sleep tracker was also part of its appeal. I have had this for just a couple of months but am now returning for a refund. I like it so much, when it works, that I would have tried a replacement but the rose gold is sold out. Since last week I have experienced faults ... MoreI bought the rose gold version and loved it. The sleep tracker was also part of its appeal. I have had this for just a couple of months but am now returning for a refund. I like it so much, when it works, that I would have tried a replacement but the rose gold is sold out. Since last week I have experienced faults mentioned by others. Firstly, while I could see the main screen displaying the time I could not scroll down to read the other screens. However, as I was on the point of phoning to return, within 36 hours it righted itself. I hoped this was a one off blip. However, now the entire display has ceased to function although data is being fed still to the dashboard on my iPad and I can feel the beep should I still have to complete 250 steps in an hour. Two days have passed with no sign of it self correcting and really I don’t want this level of unreliability even if it does come back to life. In terms of general feedback and based on other reviews I would comment as follows: I found the set up and the syncing of the Fitbit to my iPad very complex and finally had to have this done by my nephew. I linked up to my iPad rather than to my android smartphone and have found this generally to work well. I did not want have text/email notification so can’t comment on this. My nephew set me up to record swimming as a specific activity but this has not worked at all and so this was a major disappointment. I agree that the Charge 3 appears sensitive and can incorrectly record driving a car as steps. On some days when I achieved 30 minutes of cardio activity, this registered on the Fitbit but not on the dashboard on the iPad. I found that, true to claims, the battery life was great and lasted the full 7 days. I could put up with the lack of swimming recording and activity not always appearing on the iPad so long as the Fitbit itself was working. The faults with the screen display render the Fitbit useless. It appears there are serious issues as far as the Charge 3 is concerned and so I find it particularly annoying that yesterday’s TSV was the Charge 3 and that none of these issues was flagged. QVC holds itself out as an ethical retailer and it is disappointing, given the widespread concerns expressed about the new Charge 3, that the TSV event went ahead without any reference to the teething problems clearly associated with this product.
I ordered this Fitbit for my husband. We both have them and they are good for what we need. I was thrilled to find the right model at the right price. it arrived in early October. In late December it stopped working. No display. My husband contacted both Walmart and Fitbit and was told that it wad past the warranty. After confirming the manufacturer warranty was a year, I called them back. after much back and forth in, I received information from the Fitbit representative that this device I ordered as a new product, had been previously owned/registered to a previous owner!!!! Therefore the warranty was null and void.I paid for a new device and was sent someone's used goods, no warranty, doesn't work.
