One of the reasons I chose an analogue watch was due to failing eyesight, but there are issues with the lack of contrast with the hands on this model. In low light conditions, the watch can be difficult to read. In darkness, it is also problematic to use the light because it causes the 6 numeral to glow so bright that it is impossible to see the hands. The world time abbreviations are impossible to read and should have been backed up by the abbreviations appearing on the digital display, something that would have been easily achieved. £699 is a lot of money that is hard to read and essentially needs more development. Construction and quality is top. Looks amazing.Glad it has no phone connectivity and is a standalone watch with. Not a fan of the bluetooth Gs personally.Only thing it’s missing is sunrise/ sunset. But other than that a close to perfect master of G. You wont be disappointed!What a master of G should be!

I bought the RAF special edition Gravity Master a couple of years ago and loved the features, and I thought the only thing missing was solar, so I bought the GWG-2000 because of the solar, but I find myself a little paranoid about getting enough charge into it, but we’ll see how it goes. Great looking watch and I love the fact it receives a signal to keep the time accurate. It probably has way more features than I will use but this watch is a great addition to the collection. It is very comfortable, more comfortable than the Gravity Master, because of the ‘wings’ inside the strap. Very happy !

However, this watch (given to me by my wife as a Christmas present) has pushed me to give a review for the first time.I initially spent a great deal of time checking for the type of watch that suited my needs after the early demise of my Sa#@ung smart watch. I realised that I didn't use 90% of the technology and that recharging the watch every day was a chore especially when I was away on business. All I wanted was a relaible,comfortable smart looking watch. This Mudmaster fits the bill perfectly. I have other watches, but none of them are as comfortable as this one. I can wear it all day without any irritation whatsoever. My last Casio protrek, lasted 12 years. I'm hoping this one will last longer.I'm a ground worker, using heavy vibration equipment and concrete, mud, sand etc. The watch is bearing up at the moment, but only time will tell. Will review again in another couple of months after some more hard work .
This is my second recent G Shock purchase from FIrst Class and the service is outstanding and at an exceptional price once again.The watch itself is basically a tank on the wrist, but without the size and weight you might expect. For me it’s also the best looking of all the Mudmasters with its much more smart/casual colours.If you’re in the market for this watch, don’t hesitate to buy it from here.
This is a Amazing watch. Great if your into bush craft and outdoor stuff. You set the watch up when you get it and that's it the Radio Control takes over and your always be on time.
The watch is big and it is beautiful. Looks just right on my (large) wrist. This is my first G-Shock and my first resin band. Find myself always "adjusting" the watch on my wrist, something I don't do with my other titanium bracelet Pro Treks. I'll get used to it, I guess. Set up is easy if you're familiar with Casio watches in general. Backlight is very good. I was worried about the negative display but it is actually quite readable. My only issue is that the grey hands kind of disappear on the background if lighting isn't good. I wish the hands were white (like on the 1A3). Other than that, very happy with the watch.
Initially I was happy and excited to finally got my watch after less than 2 months it was faulty and have to return and refund.I wasn’t expecting this to happen specially from a well built G-SHOCK. The automatic hand adjustment function did not work properly. I notice when daylight saving time occur and it didn’t adjust automatically. When I check it was long time ago when it adjusted automatically. Hope next time they can add Bluetooth.I’m still hoping to have 1 but I’m reluctant to buy.
This is smaller, stronger and lighter than the GWG 1000, that sits more comfortable on the wrist. It has a better LED display illumination and softer strap. Is it worth the upgrade, personally - YES. Also better mud resistance, allowing you to get mudder with the Mudmaster.
