I have used the LED Panel only a couple of times so far but very impressed with this light source. So easy to set up, take down and pack around. Looking forward to using it in many more applications especially on location.

These provide brightness beyond what I was expecting, allowed easy modelling and are lightweight and compact enough to be used where strobes can’t, like flat to a wall or ceiling. They disassemble easily, or if you’re really pressed for time, are so lightweight they’re easy to just set in the back seat of any vehicle. They also proved to be color-accurate, which was great when balancing multiple lights in a setup. The only improvements I could suggest would be:1: Make them dimmable below 10% as I actually needed that2: Make the remote dim below 25% as… that’s just a weird limit3: Make the cable from the panel to the amplifier unit longer, for when it’s used on the end of a boom arm. The unit is heavy and you really don’t want it up high on the boom.

Adding constant lighting to my workflow has sped up headshot and portrait corrections significantly (think adjusting softboxes/client with glasses to remove glare as one example). Being able to see exactly how the image will turn out before it's taken has removed the trial and error of many small adjustments. The lights are bright, the wireless remote options make adjustments easy, and they depth of the panel versus softbox and strobe creates a more open feel for my setup.

Have used this for a couple of shoots now and was impressed at the light throw, in my small studio I had to dial it way back so plenty of power. I shoot primarily BnW, but appreciated being able to warm the light up. Totally would buy a second one.I hope some diffusers and grids become available for this unit to shape the light a bit more.
I have not seen any problem with these lights. I use them for continuous 5600k indoor for my head shots studio they walk perfectly it to you right.
I use these lights primarily for professional head shots, and the results speak for themselves! They're also super easy to set up and take down, and very compact for transporting. Inserting the metal supports onto the back of the mat takes a little practice, but is pretty straightforward once you've got it down. I've already recommended these lights to several of my photographer friends!
I purchased a few of these (in different sizes) to see how I liked them for headshots and it turns out I love them! Definitely my new go-to setup for headshots. Love how easy they are to set up, love the bi color option although I keep them at 5600k, I love the triangle catchlights with the way I have them set up - as well as smaller pupils/more iris using these constant lights vs my strobes. And the cost wasn't out of my budget to get the full setup. So far I have nothing negative to say about them.
I would highly recommend these lights for product photography as well as portraits. While they are no strobe or speedlight, they definitely emit enough light to work for portraits.
I have been using this light for full length portrait and still life lighting. It is bright and the bicolour option is handy. I find it easy to move around and position exactly how I want it.Only gripe is that it only goes down to 10%, which is still fairly bright,, but that is solved by moving the light a bit further away.
In many ways this light is overkill for my current needs, but I am very happy I bought it.This light is really bright! Even on the low settings. I have a small area I am working with and have to use ND gels to tame the brightness - no problem. I can see these easily lighting a larger area.I was very impressed by the build quality of the unit. Material is heavy duty and the seams are sown perfectly. This will stand up to a lot of use.The metal frame to shape the light rigidly works, but is a bit awkward. But the advantages are evident. This light is very versatile and I think once I get used to working with it, it will be second nature. The light quality is fantastic. Controls allow for warmer or cooler/daylight colour temperatures.Overall this light is ... MoreIn many ways this light is overkill for my current needs, but I am very happy I bought it.This light is really bright!
