This transfer paper makes my life sooo much easier when it comes to transferring my drawings to a prepared wood panel. As the box says, you really can use a sheet many times (I've used one 8x0" sheet three times so far, without losing the quality of the traced drawing. The lines are super crisp, and you don't have to press ridiculously hard.My only issue is with the white transfer paper on dark backgrounds - you do have to be super, super careful about not smudging it, and some white particles do scatter/adhere to the surface. If you're painting the background, not an issue! But I like to leave the wood exposed for some paintings, so I have to be very careful in this situation because I can't just paint over smudges. It is nice to have a Yellow paint that is not too transparent, however the drawback of this color is that it is too watery. If you try to get good coverage in one layer, then it leaves ridges in the paint when dry; if you put it on so it is smooth and thin, then it doesn't cover what you want it to cover underneath. The Golden company either put too much water or too much thin hi flow medium in this product. It might be helpful to use this same specific color in the tube heavy body from Golden to attain better coverage.

It is very effective color-wise at making realistic mixes. It is nearly impossible to control the dispensing of this product because it does NOT come out at drop at a time, but a river of watery brown at one time. This unique color red with a hint of orange behind it is great for mixing and surprisingly opaque for a fluid body! I've always used acrylics to paint with, but am new to the Golden Fluid Acrylic line. It's unbelievable how superior this line of paints are compared to every other acrylic I've ever used! They are more expensive than some other options, but if you do a side by side test, the results will tell you Golden fluid wins every time.#sweepstakes
I am just starting to use the Golden Fluid Acrylics more on a regular basis. Why? They have very strong pigments and thus "go a long way", means I can add a good amount of medium, and they still keep their strength and color vibrancy. Mixing them is amazing as I need to add only very little of one color to another one to change it to my liking.I didn't buy the Golden Fluid Acrylics before before because I found them too expensive. With my experience now I know that the quality and intensity of these colors don't make them too or more expensive than the acrylics I was buying before. I will definitely purchase more of the Golden Fluid Acrylics to eventually replace the acrylics I still have.
I normally work with heavy body paints and I've never used fluid acrylic paints before so I was a bit hesitant to order them at first. But the prices seem more affordable for me compared to the heavy body paints so I decided to give it a try along with Golden Extra Heavy Gel (matte). And I am happy that I gave it a try! These are definitely fluid, but it's gem packed with high quality pigments. Colors are so vibrant and work well with the extra heavy gel to create thicker texture. Also, work well itself or mixed with water to other acrylic medium for glazing and layering.

I hate the sheen that some of them have and the price can be tough on the wallet which has led me to try many other brands... but some of the colors are top notch and I can't find anything that compares to them. I mix with raw umber constantly and have yet to find another brand that offers the same raw umber hue -- it's perfect. Same goes for sap green. Both titanium and zinc white are in my top two white brand choices, but again, the sheen is a bit more than I personally prefer. If the sheen doesn't bother you and price isn't a factor - you'll love them.
There is no finer paint than Golden for my needs. The colors are so vibrant. The application is smooth whether you use a heavy body or a fluid acrylic. Fluid acrylics are great for full coverage that is absolutely smooth, with few visible brush strokes unless I want them there. It flows over the canvas but can't be confused with the Golden High Flow acrylic because it is not as thin and wet and serves an entirely different purpose. To be able to achieve gorgeous, deep, brilliant, dynamic color that is full coverage so easily with a fluid acrylic? It can only be Golden.
I bought several additional colors as I already had a mixing set. Absolutely LOVE them all! Colors are always so vibrant and have outstanding viscosity and coverage. The fluid acrylics by Goldeb are my #1. Soft body are a close second. But every product I've gotten both from Blick and Golden have been stellar. Sure you pay a bit more but definitely worth it! A little goes a long way!

The pigment goes a really long way when mixing and I found that I was using quite a bit of paint in experimenting to determine with how much was too much. Fortunately, they had a lot of stretch when I finally got to application. Without the addition of medium these paints dry to a very shiny finish which didn't appeal to me. Some artists might be going for a shiny plastic look, in which case they might really like these paints. There are two Phthalo Blues (red and green shades). I would have preferred a French Ultramarine over one of these. The original list ...
