I love this hills hoist, So it probably says two to install maybe but I did get it together and in by myself so I would say easy to do. Would be easier to string wires if there was two but I can say I was able to do by myself. Love my Hills Hoist. I would say the hardest part was digging the hole in the dirt/clay I have.

I love the fact its metal. But the hoist wobbles. There is no way to make it not wobble. Apart from that it's alright

Extremely solid construction, can't beat a classic. Left off 1 star because the wire is quite hard to fit and the instructions are extremely unclear about how to do this with common tools
The only clothes line you could ever want .Australian icon still the best. Will hold all your clothes and bed sheets .rotating action ensures quick drying. We love it .
Lovely, smooth-action, strong clothesline. The colour white is great for keeping an eye on creepy crawlies too!
Installation video factual incorrect on depth of hole, which leave handle too low. Also method of mixing dry concrete not an effective way to get water through all dry mix cement. But quality of the clothesline itself was dreadful and couldn't even be installed due to kinks all through line which don't come out.. Had to get Bunnings to replace with separate Galvanised clothesline off their shelves. Unfortunately Hills is not delivering the quality its name was built on with products that were manufactured in Australia.
Bought the Hills thinking it would be significantly larger than the existing line. Don't be fooled just buy the Austral with an extra 10meters of line space. The main mast on the Hills is made out of sub 1mm walled tube and wobbles around even when nothing is hanging from it in a gentle breeze and thats with a 300mm diameter bore hole fully concreted above and beyond the instructions. Cant wait for this thing to rust out and get something better.
Strong clothesline, clear instructions, easy to put together but needs at least 2 people to set up.
old school fantastic, straight forward to assemble, fits into our environment and surrounds perfect, we also decided to purchase this product for personal memories of the past. Highly recommend this product.
