I have sensitive skin so have to be careful what I use. I got a Jane Iredale Primer (Smooth Affair) as a part of a Christmas prize from Active Skinn 2 years ago and absolutely loved it!!! So I thought I'd try their loose powder mineral foundation. I can't say enough good things about it. It's so light you would think you'd getting no coverage but in fact it gives great coverage that feels light and comfortable. The colours I got were a little too light but I just mix some bronzing powder to get it right. I love this product and love this brand. It has become my go-to brand.

I've been using Jane Iredale loose powder for a couple of years now, and I'm OBSESSED!!!. This product is perfect for my oily, dry and sensitive skin. Doesn't cause any acne breakouts either!! Has a great light feel, whilst giving excellent coverage that lasts. I love how a small amount of product goes a long way, meaning I only have to buy 1 or 2 a year!! Ordering was so quick and easy through Activeskin online, and loved the cheeky Kit-Kat surprise xxx. Would highly recommend!!

A lot better than the bare minerals cult classic. This one doesn?t Melt off the face. The finish is natural and not caky. Pairs well with a finishing spray.

I love Jane Iredale makeup. I have always been a loose mineral makeup gal, but this one I find the best. It lasts for such a long time, and you can decide when applying it how much coverage you want. I love that it has numerous shades, so you can find your perfect match. I often mix some of the powder in the lid with some sunscreen for a dewy finish with additional SPF. I am equally a fan of Jane Iredale's pressed powder too!
This powder and be used with or without a base foundation. I use it with Jane Iredale's Glow Time BB foundation. It has very good coverage which is excellent for my ageing skin. It was originally recommended to me by my beauty therapist a long time ago and I have been using it ever since.
Lovely and lightweight. Easy to apply and colour is perfect. Was expecting the coverage to be a bit better though, you need a lot to get a decent coverage and it doesn’t last long for all day wear.
I use the JI Amazing Base Loose Powder over my JI Glow Time BB Cream with amazing results. It brightens up my skin, looks natural and ensures my BB Cream has great long lasting coverage. It’s a must-have item in my makeup kit. As I have mild rosacea and my skin flushes easily, I unfortunately can’t use this powder on it’s own without having to layer it on, which is less cost effective than I would like. When I want lighter coverage for weekends/holidays etc I use the JI Liquid Minerals Foundation (Amber) and then dust on this powder which sets it perfectly and ensures lasting coverage. I’m very happy with the results.
Used for years. For a more made up look I use it over the pressed base to give a gentle sun kissed look. In summer it's a quick brush to waken up my face to look sunnier without a made up look. It disguises my rosy cheeks and freckles without looking caked on. Has benefit of sun screen built in tho on hot summer days I still put a suncream underneath. I've even slept in it with no clogging. So much faster to apply than cream foundations and looks better too on mature skin
This loose powder is supposed to give better coverage then the pressed but I find it to be the opposite. I had trouble building this one up, but nice for a sheerer coverage. Will repurchase the pressed version in future.
I have been using Jane Iredale loose mineral makeup for 10 years. It?s light, gives great sun protection even in the ocean, and gratefully does not cause any acne breakout that my sensitive skin is so prone to.
