Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder SPF 20 Radiant

How well does this work? I won't use anything else. About my early 40's, I began facing an issue with makeup performance. The liquids no longer blended well; some even streaked! Powders became a nightmare also as instead of looking natural, they seemed to ride on top of my skin like a passenger. As a professional Saleswoman, I tried to solve this by myself which didn't work. My local beauty supplier is known for her best-trained staff, so I asked if there was a solution. She strongly recommended Jane Iredale products and how pleasantly surprised I was to get compliments again. This volume of powder lasts a long time. It doesn't take much to make all the difference in the world. Great advice from people who know.

First off, this powder is pretty light coverage. This is why I love it. Also, you need to use the right brush and apply it in downward strokes (at least for me). I thought I was Warm Sienna in the winter but this shade seems to work better for me. It covers my ruddiness pretty well while keeping my skin glowing; and is sheer coverage so it looks natural. It has that yellow tone to it so it brightens my skin nicely. I have been a fan of Jane Iredale makeup for almost 25 years. Even just a single coat adds impact; I'll sometimes curl and add just a smidge more toward the ends of my fringe. FWIW, I previously purchased this product from a local day spa that eventually stopped carrying makeup.Yes, Iredale products are wonderful; I've used them since 2005, when they were mostly just mineral powders.
