Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder SPF 20 Satin

Absolutely love this brand makeup. Blends beautifully, all day wear, and doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts which I love! I am in the sun a lot and knowing my skin is protected and won’t break out whilst wearing makeup is truly comforting. Also 12/10 service to the company for shipping!! AMAZING BASE LOOSE POWDER

I really wanted to like this product....Cause it seemed like such a convenient way to apply loose powder without a big mess. It really does not work well. The powder does not shake out properly to the brush. The powder just clogs up and stays in the to. Does not shake out properly to the brush.And after just a few uses, the brush actually broke off the top of the dispenser. I had this product less than a week. I really tried to make it work. It does not, it broke in just a few days.I would not recommend this product to anyone

I use number 112 in Maybelline so for this powder I went for Light Beige which seems perfect. I used a big round brush to work it in and for blemishes and dark spots I just used q tip to apply precisely. Perfect everyday solution.

Best foundation I have ever tried!

This is hands down the best foundation I have ever tried! The color is true to it's name - light neutral coloring. You can layer it for added coverage or keep it more sheer for a more natural look. It doesn't look fake nor cause issues for the skin. In fact helps keep skin healthy looking and feeling. Highly recommend it. Unlike many I have tried in the past, these colors are true to what is shown and described. Will use this as long as they keep making it and hope they never quit!!!

Great for mature skin

My 53 year old combination skin loves this product. I often use as a spot concealer as the coverage is good, but when I do my whole face the look is flawless. I even use it on my eyelids as I have some sunspots there and it really wakes my eye area up. No flaking, but in summer it can get a bit dewy. It it most certainly the best product I have tried. I use natural as the tone is correct. I wish there was a slightly lighter version of this exact tone and it would be 5 star.

Ingredients too occlusive for oily acne skin

Would like to see a loose and pressed powder that does not contain dimethicone and punica granatum (pomegranate) extract. I have oily skin that gets congested with acne. The two ingredients just noted cause my skin to break out due to the occlusive nature and moisturizing which is too much for my skin type. Powder gets a pasty look after being on. My skin doesn't need more moisture. A lighterweight powder would be great to see get developed that is more suitable for oily skin / acne skin..

Non drying mineral powder

I have a love hate relationship with powders. I am 69 and have sun damage and wrinkles that accompany the years. My skin is combination, dry around the eyes and mouth, but oily eye lids, t zone and enlarged pores on nose. I apply this after a tinted primer or tinted sunscreen, and a little concealer or maybe brightener around my under eye circles and bags. This powder goes on smoothly, minimizes pores and does not emphasize wrinkles or dry patches, but gives a soft blur effect and eliminates shine. Fairly happy with, just wish it had more of a spf, because it is minimal and I don’t want to continuously apply other sunscreen. Not the right color. Not

Not the right color. Not the company's fault - I didn't know the answers to the questions when I was trying to figure out my shade. And I realize, I really don't like a loose powder. The finishing spray I got, terrible smell, and an hour into my work shift, no signs of any make up. Does finishing spray work for sweaty people or do we all just wipe it and all the make-up we took so much time to put on away? But still - good company, thoughtful sample gift, delivery arrived in a timely fashion.

The powder looked darker than

The powder looked darker than the same color I order in the compact form, but with a summer tan it worked out fine. I do wonder if this color will work for me in the winter or if I will have to find another shade. I normally wear Honey Bronze. The loose powder seems to be lighter coverage than the compact, probably better for summer, but just doesn't cover quite as well as the compact formula. I hope this will last. It doesn't seem like much product for the price. It's so light it's kind of no make up look. I got a mister product but I like the powder application alone, without the mister follow up. The mister seems to make pores more visible, and makes make up look less fresh.

Well, Holy Fudge... I Wasn't Expecting This!

I read about Jane Iredale foundations on a fashion/lifestyle blog, decided to investigate, and was so glad I did! I had previously used another brand's loose-powder foundation until the brand discontinued it, and I was happy to see a loose powder foundation here. Tried it... LOVE it! My aging skin can be a morass of oily and dry, and this foundation evens it all out. It does work better if I use my moisturizer before applying the foundation, but it still works well over bare skin. I uploaded a makeup-free selfie to use the "try it on" feature and figure out my shade, and the match was perfect. Keep in mind, any loose powder foundation can be messy if you aren't careful... watch the videos before opening/applying!
