I originally bought a WD 4 for my house in France, and I used the heck out of it there to do a bunch of cleanups all around, especially in my then-horribly messy sheds (particularly after a re-roofing job I did). The WD 4 is an excellent little machine that is reliable, easily movable and relatively quiet (it is a bit noisy, but nothing like my Craftsman in the US). Upon returning to the US, I bought one for these shores and let go my 20-gallon Craftsman (which I did love) in favor of this one. Yes, it is smaller than my previous machine, but this one is so much more civilized and functional. It fits well in one of my cabinets and has simplified my clean-up life. Great machine that I highly recommend!

I was very excited for the vaccum. It has some pro and cons but cons are more thats why had to give it 3 stars.First the pros are the extra parts can be stored nicely inside it. It has a great powerful suction which made my home looked absolutely spotless so i was very happy to how clean was it.Now the cons it quite big to be stored properly. The wire keeps hanging at the back where i wished it had that wire suction button.The eaning head is great but unfortunately its probably more meant to be used on floors and not carpets because moving it on carpets and rugs was such a hard work which was a pain for my arms and back. It has a great power giving good cleaning power.I have used this in a number of differant areas, household, car, decking and gutters.I found it cleaned very well with the suction picking up gravel and grit from the car footwell realy good. It cleaned the decking great removing all the dirt from between the grooves with no problem.It came with two extension, tubes, curved tube and suction nosel which all attach to the hose. I did feel though that it could do with a small extension tube as well as the two supplied when attached to the hose seemed to be a bit to long. In addition I didn't feel the 5m power cable was long enough, I feel at least 8m would be better.The karcher has swivel wheels to the base which you have to attach, ... The unit moves very freely with a little tug of the hose in addition it has a handle to the top which is good and the unit isn't over heavy to lift.It comes with one disposable dirt bag, more would be better. However I feel this could be manufactured as a reusable dirt bag.When used for water suction which it also does well, you just remove the dirt bag and off you go. It has a built in filter when using it for water. This can be removed and cleaned. Also built in is a float so you don't flood the karcher.The motor unit attaches to dirt and water area by a latch either side which are easy to use and clip down. When unlatched you simply lift the motor unit off to gain access to the dirt bag or water.This has a 1000watt motor which is powerful however it can be to strong when cleaning mats or loose items sucking them up which I feel this karcher could have a variable speed dial.Overall I'm very happy and impressed with the karcher
I'm really amazed with this WD 4 vacuum from Kärcher and at how well it works. So far I've used it to clean my cars, unclog my ac unit drain pipes, and to clean spills and other things and it's handled every task without any issues. It's very lightweight and not to bulky and with the wheels it's really easy to move around and to store when not in use. The vacuum bags are very strong and can hold a lot without ripping and they attach really well. All the attachments are great and work as they should and the vacuum has areas to hold parts that aren't being used. Overall this is a really great vacuum that I highly recommend.

It comes with just about any attachment you will need to clean with. I like that to attach the different nozzles that they snap on easy and you have to push two side buttons to release them so you don’t have to worry about them falling off as you are cleaning. You do have to attach the wheels yourself but that is easy and simple and just takes seconds to do. The suction hose is a pretty good length . It has a flat pleated filter which makes it easy to clean and you aren’t coming in contact with a lot of dirt with it being pleated when it is time to change of clean the filter off. The power cord can be wrapped around the the hook on the left side of it when you are ready to store the vacuum. It does come with a Fleece filter bag that installs easily into the container of the vac and help with dust retention. I bought this a month ago and although there was a bit of a hiccup initially I am very pleased with it. My previous Karcher lasted 20 years in constant use. The only differences I have noticed are that the suction power seems somewhat greater and the pitch of the motor noise seems just that bit higher and as a consequence when I am using it for extended periods, which I frequently do, in my garage/workshop I wear ear defenders. I also have it connected through a dust collection bin which works well attached to varous machines. I also found that the nozzle does not tuck under the carry handle which I liked on my old one it just means the hose is not coiled quite so tidily - but that is just nit picking.
