This product is great! I am a cosmetology student and I recommend this to all my clients that have excessive dandruff build up or if they just have a dry scalp. I say that it is a great product because it leaves your hair feeling refreshed. I have dry scalp so I got this some years ago to try because I read really good reviews about it. It helps with the itch in-between washes. I wash my hair once every week. A little goes a long way. If you use too much it will be greasy and nobody likes greasy, weighed down relaxed hair. It has a slight fragrance.

I bought this because keratin has worked well for me, during professional, keratin beauty shop conditioning. But THIS "keratin" stuff is too light-textured and lightweight, to do anything, other than smell good. It failed me while my hair still was straight-permed in February. And if fails me now in April, as I no longer visit any beauty shops during this Cornavirus shut-down era. So I just leave it on my shelf now, and listen closely, as my natural hair roots tell me, I no longer need good-smelling, yet ineffective, costly products like these. I've worn straight beauty shop perms now for 30 years! Keracare Dry & Itchy scalp glossier

The product smells nice and there is a surprising tingling feeling after application which feels lovely. I guess this is supposed to help stimulate growth. My itchy scalp and dandruff have subsided with regular use. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the first ingredient is petroleum - known to block pores. Considering the price I’d thought they would use a different filler.

This has been used in my hair for every salon visit since I was younger. I am natural and my stylist adds this before she does the hot comb press and it leaves my hair shiny (glossy) and darker. It does weigh the hair down. But I like the flat look after a salon visit- your hair will eventually get more volume after a week if you continue to wrap it and take care of it. I am lost without these products. I can't think of anything else that's better than this!

Sticky but effective

I have a dry and itchy scalp due to the weather and general eczema. I have tried a lot of different shampoos/treatments and am impressed with the Keracare products. From the second I put this 'glossifier' on my scalp, I felt it was instantly soothing. I made the mistake of using a clump the first time which left my hair very sticky, even after washing once with shampoo. The second time I used it I used a small amount and applied carefully to my scalp and left on for an hour before washing my hair with shampoo. This helped soothe my scalp but still also left my hair sticky despite using a small amount and washing my hair. However, my hair was beautifully shiny.
