My hair turned into a orange yellow tone, after trying to dye it ginger. My natural hair color is medium blonde. I bought this with the hope it will help me to turndown the orange hues of my hair. I was afraid to keep it longer than 30min because I was afraid it might come out wrong. But it turned out so beautiful. My hair looks more natural. The orange hues are turned down not so bright it looks very beautiful and natural. Until the orange hues will totally go away on their own I will keep using this color to fix up. Hopefully with time my hair will turn to it’s natural blondes without using bleach. If anyone has my problem I suggest you to go for this color. It will naturalize your look.

This is the first time I have used this brand so was slightly sceptical. I wanted a cool dark blond as my previously colour was beginning to look brassy and my hair was very dry. I looked into several options and chose this brand and colour based on the reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. The colour is lovely, very similar to that shown on the box and it took away the brassiness. It has faded slightly after a few washes but not too much. My hair was left feeling soft and shiny. It has a multi tonal look and I’ve had many compliments on the colour. The instructions are easy to follow and I would highly recommend this product.

My hair had been lightened three shades lighter with acid (forgot what the acid is called, begins with H). This dye seemed ideal to get it back to dark ash blonde. I followed the instructions (although left on for 25 mins instead of 30). I actually forgot to bring the purple mask and shampoo into the bathroom with me but luckily I already had a strong purple shampoo so I just used that instead, then a moisturising conditioner. My hair has dried just now and the result is beautiful, a perfect ashy tone, nothing warm or brassy, no dodgy green. Got rid of the yellow I was disliking before. I was very excited to dye my hair this colour, I have been wanting to go that little bit darker for so long! Instructions provided were easy to follow and the gloves actually fit nicely without the fear of them coming off. I dyed my hair myself and it was quite easy to do with what was provided. The colour turned out nicely and the shampoo and hair masque smell great. I have medium length hair and one box of dye was more than enough to cover it all. The best thing I found with this hair dye is it doesn’t stain your skin! It was very easy to wipe away without having to try scrub it off.I will definitely be purchasing this one or even another colour in this same brand again in future.

I am so delighted with this colour. I have naturally neutral /cool very dark brown hair which is greying. I had a terrible highlighting experience at the hairdresser to blend in the grey while it grew through, which turned it orange. I had to correct it before going back to work.I bought the ultra ash dark blonde, as brown dyes often go black. It's perfect! My hair is a beautiful, rich neutral/ash medium to dark brown with no root glow. Excellent grey coverage, glossy condition and pleasant application due to minimal smell and no skin staining. So i am getting a good lift, my real hair dark brown, added grey. Bleaching done after 24/48 hours later I then use this colour as a toner, leave in 40 mins. I am very happy - better than salon, like a warm icy blonde (not the exact solided white). I don't like yellow, nor ash - I say its like a baby blond colour. Either have a natural white hair, or treat as a toner after bleach for the likeness to box picture. I had orange hair as a result from using L'Oreal Paris Excellence Universal Nudes Universal Blonde 7U and decided to use this box dye in order to correct it. After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant as many mentioned getting a green tint. Decided to use it regardless and I am glad I did. Colour payoff is definitely cool tone, my hair is now dark blonde and this is exactly the colour i wanted in the first place. Very very happy with the outcome. Only negative is the strong smell, its stronger than the smell you get in any box dye. It comes with a purple shampoo which is very standard quality but also includes an amazing purple hair mask that makes a huge difference and hydrates the hair.
