I've always liked matte liquid lipsticks for their wear time and durability, but they are often really heavy and drying. Not only was it not overly drying on my lips, the colour pay-off was rich and most importantly, very smooth. I often found with other liquid matte lipsticks that little granules would become visible and my lips would quickly look like they were pilling. I had none of that with this one. The application was even and lingered for quite some time. While I didn't try eating or drinking with this on, it lasted about an hour or so at a time before I would have to re-apply. I think that's probably because this is infused with hyaluronic acid. It doesn't dry out my lips or emphasize every little crevice, it lasts a decent amount of time without looking weird when it starts to fade away, and it’s highly pigmented so you’re not having to go back and forth for an even application. I applied this with and without a liner as well as with and without a gloss. None of the shades I have tried are a match to the slightly more orange undertones of the discontinued lip stain (my favourite, perfect red!). They all appeared to swatch with cool undertones. Shade 420 was the closest, but it wears terribly compared to the lip inks. Eating and drinking will leave you with a very clear outline on the lips. I never needed a liner with the ink product, but this one does not dry down as weightlessly, and is a thicker, goopier consistency. The are very heavily pigmented, which is nice, but feel like a cheaper product than the inks did.I wouldn't recommend this
First, my LOVE for Target runs deep. It is where I do most of my grocery, housewares, and much of my personal shopping. I ordered the gorgeous French Kiss color to pick up from my local store, only to be notified that it was out at that store and the few other Target stores we have in DC. So I opted to have the item shipped. It arrived in zero packaging in a massive box (large enough for a pair of boots) and the exterior of the container was damaged. Not a huge deal. Target will only accept this return in the store (which is still out of this product), so I had to re-order it and hope for better luck on the second go. I've really become disappointed with Target shipping lately and the lack of care that is becoming more obvious with every shipment.

I've always had issues with matte products because they tend to flake or be overly drying, however it lasted until the next day and i couldnt even feel it on my lips; they felt powdery soft. The description provided is very accurate. It will fade a little towards the end of the night due eating, drinking or licking your lips but doesnt need to be reapplied since it dries like a lip stain. You will definitely need makeup remover to completely remove the lipstick. The pigment in this product is so rich, all you need is one swipe; which took 3 minutes to completely dry.
