The applicator is nicely plush and features a well in the centre which holds sufficient product for one full application.The formula has a wonderful creamy, whipped texture which provides a smooth, even application and due to the intense pigmentation, you are able to achieve full opacity in just one swipe. The lipstick dries down quickly to a gorgeous powdery matte finish which feels lightweight and comfortable all day thanks to the inclusion of Hyaluronic Acid which really is a game changer! The lipstick is smudge and transfer proof, doesn't crumble or flake like others can and the longevity is very impressive - during my wear time tests, it lasted a good 9 hours (through talking, eating and drinking) before reapplication was required. I was also pleased how it wore off evenly so it wasn't glaringly obvious to others. When I did want to remove the lipstick, I found my usual oil based cleanser made light work of it. My lips felt way softer and more hydrated than they usually do with other matte liquid lipsticks in my collection even though I employed the same lip prep routine - the Hyaluronic Acid infused formula of this Infaillible Matte Resistance lipstick really does make a huge difference!If, like me, you're OBSESSED with matte liquid lipsticks, do not sleep on these beauties because they're brilliant - definitely chef's kiss level!● 5ml● 12 shades available● PAO 24 months

I received this product for free from topbox in exchange for my honest review. The package looks really sleek and can fit into my smallest cross bag,which I love. I like the scent too, pleasant yet subtle. The application spoolie is soft and comfortable to apply on my lips but can cause a bit of smudge on the corners of the mouth, if care isnt ttaken. The color I received works with my skintone and fits the colder weather but I find that I have to leave it on for few seconds to dry before dabbing both lips or the stain will smudge unevenly. Thankfully,it dries up quite fast but I still find it abit uneven and I might have to apply another layer. The applicator is a doe foot design and is slim enough for precise application and great for those of us with smaller lips.Application:It feels smooth to apply and you can neatly follow your natural lip line with the shape of this applicator and then fill in the lip area. I was surprised at how richly pigmented it is, the color payoff is amazing, especially in this darker/richer red, and I was concerned with it being such an intense shade that it may bleed or feather over time. It takes a minute or two to set before you get the matte finish.Wear test:I tested the lipstick over a couple of days, and during that time I eat and drank and found it to be transfer-proof and for the most part doesn’t budge. I noticed no feathering or bleeding once it had dried either. It felt lightweight and not ‘masky’, and it slowly faded quite evenly with no patchiness even though I’d not scrubbed or prepped lips with a balm of any kind beforehand. At the end of the day, it was easy to remove with my usual micellar water cleanser which easily removed all traces and it didn’t stain the lips as some resistant/long-wear formulas can.Overall thoughts:I’m very impressed with this lipstick's performance. It definitely lived up to L’Oreal’s marketing claims and I’ve nothing negative to report. If you want a matte lipstick withan intense color payoff that’s a breeze to apply, and stays put and is available in a fantastic array of 12 shades (10 at Superdrug), look no further! This particular shade (420 - Le Rouge Paris) is an intense, deep, cherry red that would suit all skin tones and hair colours, and it’s a glorious shade for a statement pop of colour all year ‘round, with minimal eye make-up, just lashings of your favourite mascara like the french girls do!
