La Roche-Posay Toleriane Softening Foaming Gel 150 ml
Rich yet gentle, the foam does not disturb the delicate balance of reactive skin. It is enriched in hard water-neutralising EDTA, so it can be used even by those whose skin reacts to water. The finely balanced formula is made precisely to minimise the risk of intolerance, and is soap free, preservative-free and fragrance-free. Glycerine moisturises the skin and leaves it feeling supple and protected from external aggressions. Presented in a rich yet gentle gel format, the Toleriane Softening Foaming Gel transforms into a soft foam upon contact with water. Work the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Softening Foaming Gel into a foam in the hand with warm water both morning and night, and massage gently into the face avoiding the eye area. Rinse away thoroughly.

I hateddd this product with my entire being. Not only does it have 3 or 4 comedogenic ingredients (at least the Canadian formulation does), it leaves you with this rubber like sensation on skin that is just so uncomfortable and unpleasant. It does strip your skin and even though it’s giving you the illusion of “squeaky clean skin” it’s actually just depleting you of your natural oils. Although I must say I liked the cream to foam consistency but I would never repurchase this product. It also caused more breakouts and irritation (of course since literally half of its ingredients have comedogenic properties).

THis is my absolute favorite cleanser of all time. It is so deliciously foamy and gets all my makeup off, it feels like it’s getting all of the dirt and grime and oils out of my pores. The bang for your buck is there and a bottle lasts for ages! I torture my skin with retinol and AHAs/BHAs and this doesn’t strip my skin or further irritate it. I will keep coming back for more and more!

The only cleanser I’ll use! Most cleansers contain fragrance or dry out my skin, so it’s been tough to find a cleanser that works for me. I have occasional breakouts, but I mainly have dry skin/eczema and I’m allergic to fragrance. This is truly the best. It makes my skin feel so moisturized after using, and it never causes any reactions. I switched to La Roche Posay skincare about a year ago and have yet to have an eczema flare up since!

I have really loved this cleanser since my dermatologist recommended it to me a year ago. I have gone through more than a couple bottles and was surprised to find out that my skin did not react to this product (I have severely sensitive skin). In fact, I think this product may have made my sensitivity decrease, especially on my oilier days. I definitely would recommend this cleanser to anyone—it doesn’t have any fragrance, its not harsh, it lathers, and it overall makes my face feel very clean.
I used to use the Effaclar h cleanser which I absolutely love but tried this and wow I love it! More hydrating and feels like it leaves a dewy boost of moisturise on your skin! Perfect for in the winter when it’s colder outside and your skin gets dehydrated. I have combination skin and it’s perfect for it.
Well... I had very high expectations for this cleanser. At first I thought it's great - nice smell without fake fragrances, gentle, feeling good on skin, good cleansing, not drying. But when I started to use my other Skincare products after rinsing... Everything foamed! It's impossible to rinse this thing off. No matter if I use the last I can , no matter that I rinse it off for almost 10minutes it always stays on skin! Don't recommend this to anyone. Waste of money
This product really cleanses well without irritation. I have typically normal skin and wanted a cleanser to use post workouts. I don't use a lot, maybe dime size amount because if I used too much it would dry me out (I did that the first time using it). You will have squeaky clean skin without irritation. I use this with their serozinc toner to add some minimal hydration and calm the skin, and my rosacea has reduced significantly.
This moisturiser is fantastic. I’ve been trying to cut down on my products and streamline my routine a bit more. I’ve found this face wash to be one of the best I’ve used. Not just because it doesn’t dry my skin out but because a tiny amount goes a really long way. You only need the smallest amount on your fingertips, then lathered up to a foam.
I’ve used this cleanser for nearly a decade. It is the ONLY cleanser I’ve found that my skin can tolerate without irritation or breakouts. Because I have combination skin that is very reactive and sensitive (along with rosacea and acne), I need an effective cleanser that will remove light makeup and won’t irritate the balance of my skin. I apply to dry skin and gently massage in, then remove with a soft cloth soaked in tepid water (rinsing doesn’t do much). I use it twice if I need to double-cleanse. Other cleaners will trigger my rosacea or give me cystic acne from the irritation. I always keep at least 1 backup on hand; it would be amazing if we could get the large bottle with the pump that is sold in other countries (like Canada) here in the US. Please never stop ... MoreI’ve used this cleanser for nearly a decade. It is the ONLY cleanser I’ve found that my skin can tolerate without irritation or breakouts. I had recurrent and fluctuating eczema since early teens, so have been treated with steroid and biologics. At times the skin was dry, peeling off easily, itchy and red. At other times with acne eruption everywhere. It was a challenge to figure out a way to deal with (care for) my skin. It could got worse (itchy, dryness, peeling) after washing or using moisturizer, because the ingredients were not suitable for sensitive skin. After years of experimenting the fundamental principle of skin boiled down to choosing the right face wash, the cleanser (not referring to make-up remover). No moisturizer was working well if I did not first clean-up the face appropriately. Painful experiments. After being introduced to Toleriane purifying foaming cream cleanser I have been sticking with it until now, for nearly 15 years (aged....). It just stood test of time on my face. It cleaned thoroughly, imposed no provocative itchiness or dryness, and left the face ready for moisturizer. It has done its job quite well with fragrance-free, paraban-free concise ingredients.
