This is a versatile frying pan. Perfect size for our family needs. It looks and feels very well made.It has great retention and even distribution of heat. Doesn't require much oil for cooking. Overall excellent non-stick performance. It's also easy to clean. Looks like metal utensils can be used, but I don't anyway. One of the best parts is the handle stays cooler on the hob. Very happy so far.

I am very familiar with the Le Creuset range, having purchased a stainless steel collection recently. However I had never used their non-stick variety, so was hoping it would live up to its reputation. It did not fail to deliver. I used it on my gas hob for cooking pancakes and omelettes and both were cooked evenly and efficiently. Because the heat distribution was so effective, it meant whipping up a batch of perfectly cooked pancakes was a breeze.It is dishwasher safe and was easy to wash up by hand due to its non-stick surface. Have been through two of these now. They start off great, but the non-stick doesn't last. The first went after about 6 months. It was returned to Le Cruset who agreed to replace it, but said they would not do it again as I wasn't looking after it properly. The replacement was never dishwashed, washed soon after use and wasn't ever overheated, again the non-stick wore off after about 6 months.
My husband purchased this frying pan in the Guildford le creuset store and for the first six months, it was great. However, the non-stick started failing and this resulted in food sticking to the pan and it deteriorated rapidly. After convincing my husband to contact le creuset and request a refund, they offered a replacement (which is pointless as the same would happen again?). We have had better results from a £30 frying pan from another brand. I’m honestly appalled at the lack of longevity for such a popular brand and especially for the price.Note - the pan was never put in the dishwasher (always hand washed) and very well looked after.

Quality wise I can't fault it, it's a solidly built pan which appears like it's going to last decades. Out of the box during first use the non-stick coating worked perfectly which allowed me to use very little oil, I dare say you could dry fry in it and the food wouldn't stick at all. This obviously helps cleaning up which only takes a quick wash round with a soapy sponge, no elbow grease required. Obviously can't comment on the longevity of the non-stick coating at this point but all good so far after a fair few meals.
