I am filling them right now!!! Pepper mill is being filled with special beautiful peppercorns that I bought specifically for this pepper mill! And, the salt grinder is being filled with beautiful Himalayan salt from San Francisco Salt Co!!! So excited! It?s the little things!!!

I bought both the Le Creuset Salt and Pepper Mills. I love the colors (Hibiscus and Cassis) and I can say that they serve their purpose... to grind salt and pepper, though I found that the "coarse" counterclockwise turn is not only awkward but the result is not very coarse. I knew that these mills were a combination of plastic and ceramic. I didn't expect so much plastic. Not for Le Creuset and for the price. One of the grinders came with a scratch already on it. I'm always wiping up salt from underneath the grinder- after each use, finely ground salt collects as it falls out of the bottom. I'm disappointing in these and I wanted to love them so. I kept them, mostly out of laziness and, as mentioned above, I do love the colors. I would not purchase these grinders again.

I bought this salt mill as a gift to go with a matching pepper mill. I was surprised to find the entire piece is some type of acrylic/plastic material. Maybe I didn’t read the description well enough. For Le Creuset, I was expecting a bit heavier quality. Since this is a gift, it’ll suffice and is still nice.
I would like them even more if they were wood, but even so they are beautiful and functional. I love all the beautiful colors that they come in, it was hard to choose. have 4 of them in different colors. These are great and work really well. I have had them for awhile and they have proven the test of time. Le Creuset is high quality.
I had been wanting a nice salt mill that was clear for awhile. le creuset to the rescue! I love this brand of cook/bake/prep ware anyway. So it was an easy sell. I love it. Weighty, not cheap and the clear option lets the user see what color salt is being used.
Like all Le Creuset products, the salt mill is well made, attractive and the color, Sea Salt, is one of my favorites that beautifully complements my kitchen. I?m looking forward to receiving delivery of the demi-kettle, also in Sea Salt.
I can’t wait to gift these to my husband for Christmas. We got way into the chess game after watching the Queens Gambit on Netflix and these are an awesome equivalent to match as “chess pieces.” I purchased one black and one white and I’m considering getting a decal put on them that reads “Queen” and “King” but LOVE the look and simplicity of it already. I know it sounds silly as they are just salt and pepper shakers but I’m way into themes and may want to use chess as a theme moving forward in my kitchen/dining area. AWSOME products.
I bought the blue color which is beautiful. I wish I could figure out how to make the pepper grind larger corns - I have loosened the top but it remains a fine grind. That is the reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
Have had for a few weeks and found the salt and pepper mill to work very well. You can adjust the coarseness of the salt and pepper very easily. they are easy to fill and use. The salt and pepper comes out smoothly. colors are beautiful. they were slightly lighter weight than I thought they would be. I have the regular salt and pepper shakers and they seemed more solid and heavier. In any case, I would not hesitate to buy them for the price. They serve the purpose well!
