I have a lodge dutch oven, which I also love, but it doesnt clean up as easily and the discoloring of the ceramic definitely looks like its been used often.I guess my rational which could be faulty but its how I sleep isnt a cooking implement that lasts a lifetime worth the cost of 4 meals at the cost of roasts today you make in it

I made a one dish meal in this roaster. In the past, I have usually used a glass dish or an aluminum foil pan to make this meal. The Le Creuset 4.9l roasting pan cooked it beautifully. With the better distribution of heat throughout the cast, all of the vegetables cooked and caramelized beautifully. The meat also browned more evenly. I usually have to use the broiler setting at the end of cooking to achieve this, but not so with the Le Creuset roaster! Clean up of the pan was also very easy, as well. Very happy with my purchase!

Great size (bought the 33cm roaster)- was worried initially it would be too small but actually big enough for a joint of meat with potatoes around it (the 33cm is perfect size for my oven). Would actually love it if they made smaller cast iron ones too i.e. 26cm.Highly recommend. Did a test with potatoes in the Le Creuset and at the same time put potatoes in my normal roasting tray - food tastes much better in the le Creuset- becoming a fan - love to own more now!
I love this roaster. It is the perfect size for lasagna and roasted veggies. I also love the blueberry colour. It goes so nicely with my orange dutch oven by Le Creuset that my Mum gave me decades ago. These are truly heirloom quality.

Le Creuset are the best cookware products in the world. They last a life time. I am so excited to have this and DJs offered a great deal of a free product with purchase so I got a great Le creuset cake tin as well. Delivery was fast and well packaged and all in all a great experience buying online from DJs.
I've had my eye on this roaster for ages and finally bought it. It's a really good size, if anything a bit big for just two people but fine for making larger meals. Tried a toad in the hole but its almost too hot and it does burn on. But it's super easy to clean and comes up perfect every time. Ordered online and it arrived damaged - probably the courier dropping it, though it was not protected by anything other than the cardboard box, and it had clearly been dropped on a corner. Took it to a store to replace. Would love it if they made a grill to fit inside.
Service was great! The pan came quickly and was well packed. I really appreciated the free shipping since these pans are heavy. It’s a gift so hasn't been used yet, but it looks to be solid and great-looking like all Le Creuset pieces!
