I bought this for my grand-nephews as part of their Christmas gift with other Lego products. My first time doing Christmas shopping on-line. The experience was great, the gifts were shipped to their home, one was picked up at a nearby store. My sister was there to help my niece wrap. The boys enjoyed the gifts immensely on Christmas morning. Everything worked out magnificently. Loved the experience. Thanks, ToysRus

We bought this to start our 3 year old's lego collection. Great value for lego but we we're definitely expecting more. Not as many regular building bricks as we expected but he still enjoys it. Definitely best bang for your buck.

A lot of bricks for a small price. Lots of special bricks and various colors. Nice starter kit. Only problem is there are no plans available for the models on the box.
This was exactly what I was looking for: a LEGO set that was all bricks! I wanted my child to have a set where they had to use their imagination, and be able to build whatever they wanted, and this was the perfect set for that. I am so pleased I bought this set!
Haven't actually opened the box yet as it's for a present later. But I like this set because it has all sorts of basic building pieces instead of pieces that are geared to only build one thing. So the kids can be creative and build whatever they want. Can't go wrong with this one. I don't know if it comes with any wheel pieces, but we can always mix other sets with this one.
I only recommend this product if you are adding to existing sets and want a lot of bricks otherwise prepare to spend more on a storage solution. The box is not practical for storage and I'm not sure how they want you to use it as a sorting tray either without hacking it open which then renders it useless as storage for the bricks and pieces.The good thing is there's a ton of Lego's for your kiddos to build and create with but was really disappointed this set didn't at least come with an ideas booklet enclosed. It is also an expensive set however Lego in general is pricey.

Treated myself to this set for my birthday (the first time I've bought Legos for myself in years) and I love it. It's a great stress buster. Also keeps my hands occupied while I watch tv so I'm not tempted to eat all the time :) The only thing that's missing is the instructors to build what is illustrated on the box. I eventually found them on youtube, but I would have liked printed instructions. Still a lot of fun, though.
I was pretty excited to find a BIG box of classic lego, just plain old lego like when my boys were little. Now their daughters can enjoy building something that doesn't have to end up being just what the box shows. They can use their imagination and build whatever they want. So glad lego finally got a big size and at a great price too. I purchased one box in the store for one granddaughter and then ended up keeping it for my house and ended up buying one online and having it sent to her for her birthday. Awesome purchase!
