I enjoyed the build, even when I discovered the parts bags werent numbered. No big deal, just lay out the bags with larger parts, and empty bags of smaller parts into bowls. Further group pins and roundy bits, and youd be surprised how easy it is to find what you need. The more you pre-sort, the quicker it will go.Theres a big problem with the rear cargo door. The way its designed its too easy to pop out, and if youre far down the assembly road its almost impossible to put back in. Lifes too short, I left it out. Other than that, no complaints.

The propellers spin pretty well and the parts do not fall off. It has a nice ramp for posing as well as storing the cargo. The winch does work to pull up the cargo supplies. Overall I would say this is a really nice set to have. It takes a lot of time and patience to work on this kit but you have hours of building and everything is up to your imagination.

But eventually the all get dumped into the large totes. Love the small sets, keeps the kids busy on road trips. The larger sets are awesome for those days when the weather is terrible outside, the kids play for hours.

This set is triple the fun as it contains the instructions for three different builds. My kids are 7 and 9 and they put together the boat in a couple hours. The boat even has a mechanism that allows you to spin a handle on the top and it makes the propeller spin although we couldnt quite get the piece to set in place properly. Still, this is a complex build that gives a little bit of insight into gearing.The best part is, once theyre done building all the suggestions, they break the whole thing down and start constructing fortresses and whatnot. I have never seen a kid disappointed to receive a Lego set ever. Great toy.

As a 47 year old, I use this to spark some brain activity. I have bigger sets no doubt but just opening a small box like this can be satisfying for a short time. I built the models using the instructions then dismantled it. Store away the box and instructions and just use my imagination to make something up. Even refine what I made over time... using a small amount of pieces. This is enough for me to make something that flies, go underwater, or even try replicating a real vehicle.. like an Aptera! Wonderful Set for Imaginative Play

My family is obsessed with LEGOS. We are a family that loves to work on our LEGOS together and have fun changing them to meet the imaginary play that is happening at that time.
